In the last couple of days it now says DECISION MADE. Hence, freaking out.

My mains questions are I haven't been asked to send them an updated police certificate or supply passport photos, as some people say they have, does this suggest the decision is more likely to be a NO? And, how long does it normally take the letter to reach Canada? I really don't know what to think... and am honestly trying not to sound too negative. It is just so frustrating, especially in the sense that our application is very straight forward (or so we thought).

Congrats, it will be an approval. They pretty much never ask for updated police certificates and most peope don't get asked for new photos.

There will be no letter. Expect your COPR in the mail.

Ask the panel physician where the medical was done to email you another emedical information sheet. Print off and send to the correct address.

We applied for family sponsorship in 17 Nov 2014 (Canadian married to British citizen), supposed to be processed in Rome based on our residence but have being forwarded to Ottawa instead. We have already added our info in Ottawa's spreadsheet, so if you find it useful you could add us to London's spreadsheet as well.

Hi I am songbird82's husband (the principal applicant) and I just wanted to let you know that we went to "in process" yesterday (17/8) When I checked Wednesday last week the status was "application received" - so is it fair to say the CIC website is not only updated on Tuesday's? I did have to send a new copy of my passport (as it is due to expire) at the end of July so maybe this helped LVO change our status? Also, I just wanted to say thank you to those people that spend their time in helping everyone with this website and spreadsheet & to those that have been waiting a lot longer than me (Taffy/scotmoose/andrewbrit etc) fingers crossed to you all.

Has anyone had this problem, my fiancé is living in London and applied for his Hungarian police certificate from there on it it says it is a " electronic copy" now the CIC emailed us requesting a new one as this won't work because it says it is a copy and not an original! He called the embassy and they said that's all that they give you while applying from UK, if you need the original you have to go to Hungary in person and apply there!
Is there any way we can fight this? Or does he have to bite the bullet and go to Hungary?

Spreadsheet updated. Yes, CIC have been known to update ECAS on days other than Tuesday. Good luck!
