Congratulations :)

Still application received for me, I've nearly given up hope of ever seeing it now. I've even sent a couple of case specific enquiries and they don't have have the dignity to answer them.

Fingers crossed :) I'm really happy for you that you've got some movement, crazy it's been a year.

Completely unrelated note, am I the only one whose forum spacing/formatting has gone entirely wonky the past few days with a giant void on the right side? :o

There are some adverts displayed on the right hand side of the forum now. I generally visit the forum from my ohone, and I see the adverts so chances are you view via laptop/desktop PC and your browser (Ad Block) does not show the adverts for you.

I can' seem to get rid of it .... driving me crazy

Brucem, Congrats wishing you good luck

sharren and Princesstigger I have updated the spreadsheet with your in process date.

So my passport was due to expire in January 2016. I am hoping for a decision made/visa in my hand before the end of August 2015 which would be under 6 months from expiry which some airlines have a problem with. The last thing I would want to happen is have my visa issued, I attempt to fly to Canada with my passport only to not be allowed to board. So I applied for a renewal. They received my application on Monday this week and my shiny new passport was in my hand on Friday!

Now I will send this through to London and hope it gets the ball rolling for me.

Has anyone gotten married while their application is being processed ?

We submitted our application on March 2, 2015 (we are in the spreadsheet) and we got married last month (YAY) ;D . We did state the wedding date and copies of the legal intent to marry etc in our application. Our appication has stage 1 approval and has been sent to London but it hasnt begun being processed yet.

We were planning to update the application with our our marriage licence and photos. I was wondering if we should fill out all the marriage questions (Q12-19) on 2E_Sponsored Spouse-Partner Questionnaire [IMM 5490] and send them just that section of the form also. Im not sure how much information we need to send.

If anyone in the same situation could tell me what they did it would be great.
Thanks

One of the other member did the same thing. Thats all she did was send the marriage certificate to LVO and sent the a email. Don't send any photos unless they are for them. Congratulations !!

Yep, we got married mid-process. Applied as common-law, included stuff in thea pplication of marriage plans (receipts for hotel and minister, etc). After we got married I just sent a case-specific enquiry and attached a copy of our marriage certificate. All sorted.
