Hi can we be added to the spreadsheet.

application received in Mississauga : 5 March 2015
Common law
sponsor approval : 11 March 2015
processing office : London
location : London UK
application hasn't begun its processing in London yet.

By the way, what does AOR in the notes section of the spreadsheet mean?

Thanks!
The Dibdens

It's Acknowledgement Of Receipt...not always issued; some CIC offices issue them some don't;

Hi all,

I was just wondering if I could please ask some advice.

I currently have an outland common-law sponsorship application at the LVO, which I submitted in November, and I am currently in Canada on my second IEC working holiday visa, which runs out on the 29th of July (this month).

I am due to start studying at UBC in September, so will be travelling to Vancouver later this month (from ON), starting on the 22nd and arriving on the 27th, driving through the US on the way. Because my PR won't come through on time for me to go as a domestic student, I have successfully applied for a student visa, although unfortunately I won't have access to the stupid amount of money I need to activate said visa, before I cross the border on the 27th.

As such, I was wondering if I need to apply for a visitor extension visa to satisfy the border agent that I should be let into Canada with only 2 days until my IEC visa runs out? If so am I too late to do so? And if I am too late to actually get the visitor visa extension in hand can I cross with implied visitor status, and if so how would that work at the border?

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give, it's very much appreciated!

Don't read to much into due dates . I have had many come and go. I had one for March also,i got all excited thinking that would be it . The next notes i received said due date July 26th . My application is still waiting for officers review . Nothing started for criminal checks or Security ,it does have a bunch off notes saying eligibility in process recommend pass .
Did the eligibility assessment note at the end provide any helpful information ?

Before I add you can you confirm when your application was received and when you received sponsor approval? 6 days for SA is pretty fast!

I agree that doesn't seem right to me at all as none of us even came close to that.

As requested by CIC London following my last face to face interview, Updated UK Police clearance and payment of RPRF have been done and posted yesterday. Hopefully and prayerfully, I will be asked to submit my British passport very very soon for stamping :D ;D

A question for LVO applicants as per the CIC web processing time is 28 months which looks not good :D

Please advise actually timeline for cases, In how many months they are completing sponsorship cases..

As I am Pakistani Citizen applied from UAE but maybe they will transfer my file to LVO..

Any one please??

Go back one page on this thread and click on the "London Outland Spreadsheet" link in andrew_brit's signature; that spreadsheet will tell you how long it's taking to process Pakistani applicants; to me, it seems that both Brits and Pakistani applications are getting processed in the same timeline (circa 11 months) but it seems to be increasing continuously! I would say easily around 12-15 months.

Maybe that first date was a AOR instead of when the package was actually delivered. 6 days would make more sense then.

It said recommended pass under eligibility as have no concerns RE: bona-fides.

Hey there.

We mailed our application on Feb 12, 2015 from London UK to Mississauga. We had it tracked and it took ages to arrive. We were able to see it delivered by Canada Post "Item Delivered on March 02, 2015"

This is what is says when we go online to track our application:
We received your application to sponsor XXXX on March 2, 2015.
We started processing your application on March 11, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on March 11, 2015 about the decision on your application.

That correspondence stated that:
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.

Seemed fast to us too.

When we check the Stage 2: Permanent Residence Application Status, the website now says:
We received XXXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on March 2, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Hi everyone, yesterday I received my passport back along with stamped VISA and COPR. My complete timeline is as follow:

Application received in Mississauga: 27 May 2014
SA and file transferred to LVO: 30 July 2014
In process: 15 May 2015
Re-med request: 19 May, medical done on 21 May.
Decision made: 02 June 2015
PPR (from Manila): 05 June 2015
Passport received with stamped visa and COPR: 07 July 2015

At last the long wait is over. Best of luck to everyone whose process is under way. It is a rough journey but well worth waiting. Andrew please update my status on the timesheet.
