Not that i'm stressed, is just my uk visa is coming to an end, so the less delays the better. since i'll have to depart from my family back to Canada in August without them is gonna suck. And what sucks more is not having a decision and knowing as I head back! Ah well it is what it is.

Yes, well that does suck - and I hope for your sake the timelines start to improve. They might, because in theory fewer applications are send to London these days, but that's pure speculation and nothing is guaranteed.

It's hard not to get frustrated though I agree! (especially when Mississauga is a WHOLE YEAR ahead of my application >:()

Yep, wife was gutted when found out our application went to London office. She was fingers crossed as mine was that it would of been held in Mississauga to finish it off, but luck of the lotto wasn't with us on this occasion and she was really bummed over it.

So I got new GCMS notes today:

eligibility - recommend passed
security - not started
criminality - in progress

There really is no end to this :( the fact that's nearly a year that my application has been in and still they've not even started the security and the criminality is still in progress :(

Does "Recommend passed" mean that your interview is waived?

Mine read exactly the same, as did others who have posted. It means the've done a preliminary review, but now you are in the queue waiting for an officer to review. It took a little over 13 months for mine to go in process (although I seem to be particularly unlucky).

Nothing personal it seems they are just backed up :(

My ECAS status has changed to Decision Made which was quite a surprise! I haven't received any e-mails etc as yet from CIC however. I was under the impression you got an e-mail prior to the status on ECAS changing? Either we are happy assuming it is a positive decision :)
