Yes I have decision made on both! I don't want to get too excited, but I assume I am a yes or such a straight NO that the feds will be here soon to take me away.

It most likely is positive it is totally reasonable to have that what if in the back of your head until you have the COPR in your hands!

Spreadsheet updated!

Hi everyone (again!)

I got my request for CSQs today, as my boyfriend and I are currently residing in Quebec, and I just want to make sure that these are the right forms I am supposed to be filling out and sending?

Excepting Application for selection certificate, Payment by credit card and Declaration of sponsor abroad - Family class, forms must be filled out in French. The English translations are included only to help you do so accurately.

Sponsor's guide - Family class (PDF, 540 Kb)
Undertaking application form - Family class (Dynamic PDF, 167 Kb). You and the cosignatory, if any, must complete and sign two copies of this form.
Documents submitted in support of the undertaking application (Dynamic PDF, 1 200 Kb)
Sponsor's or Co-signatory Spouse's Declaration of Authorization (Dynamic PDF, 91 Kb)
Guide for sponsored persons - Family class (PDF, 180 Kb)
Application for selection certificate - Family class (Dynamic PDF, 814 Kb)

If you are paying your application processing fee by credit card, you must fill out the form Payment by credit card, sign it and enclosed it with your application:
Payment by credit card (Dynamic PDF, 399 Kb)

Yes, in the guide, there is a handy Checklist (which you have to send with the application anyway). You send these (with the payment) to MIDI. Then, you will receive your CSQ. In theory, you don't have to do anything else, as the MIDI will forward their decision to CIC. In some rare instances, the decision isn't forwarded and CIC will ask you to provide one of the copies of the certificate.

Hello

I was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and has any advice.

My application was received in Aug 14 and is being processed in London so should probably be done round March / April. Included in my proof of intent to return to Canada was my families one way plane tickets to Vancouver on 31 March. However my husband has had his current work contract in the UK extended until November so we are now moving then though we do not yet have flight tickets as are not sure of the date. We cancelled the original March flights.

Would it be a good idea for me to notify CIC that we are not actually moving in March as planned (therefore pretty much removing our proof of intent to immigrate) or do I just hope they don't pick up on it when they come to process our application. My stage 2 is not yet in progress.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be welcome.

Kks

hello

look at spreadhseet for those who had decision made on feb hasnt update the COPR received or not, does it usually take that long to recieve mail from CIC?

thanks

There's one person who had a DM on 30-Jan and got COPR on 5-Feb... it's usually 1-2 weeks, but can be as much as 4. If you haven't heard after 4 then chase up with CIC.

Decision was made Feb 9 for me and I still haven't heard anything.. it will be 4 weeks on Monday.
Does the decision always get sent to the applicant (me in UK) or could it have been sent to my other half (sponsor in Canada)?
My ECAS is still showing my Canadian address even though CIC have been notified that I've been in the UK since last May..
I'm so anxious about it all.. I can't believe that yet another month has passed even when I've reached decision made stage :(

Application sent today and should be received on Monday!

Can I be added to the spreadsheet please?

I don't really know 100% but i'n sure the decision is sent to the applicant. I wrote to London with a case specific email and they changed our address in about a week . I would be sending them an email.

Hi All,
I,m a bit confused about the proof of funds on port of entry myself and my family (three of us) are landing on the 3rd of march with my COPR, my partner is a Canadian citizen, and it is written on the letter that proof of funds is NOT NEEDED if I was sponsored in, by a Canadian Citizen INSIDE Canada, so does this mean that proof of funds must be shown when we are coming from Ireland. Would a bank statement be enough I can also bring the amount required but this must be declared if over 10,000. So is it fine to declare any amount over this.

You don't need proof of funds .. Any thing over $10,000 must be declared even if you have Canadian money all must be under 10 grand together if you don't want to declare it.

Thanks! And just to be sure, it's Undertaking application – Kit A – without financial requirements, correct? I was always under the impression that I had to comply with financial requirements since it's a sponsorship case.

Can my date of application received be changed to 19th Feb please? 16th was the date we posted it. 19th was the day it was received. thanks.
