Oh okay. Both the sponsor and then principal applicant get a UCI, however the e-mail they sent you perhaps only references your UCI (unique Client Identifier). If you use your spouse's UCI you can see the status of both your applications, but with the principal applicant's you only see the status of that application.

Just do whatever the e-mail asks. If it says recent then I would probably get new ones done just to be safe. If you decide to use the ones you had done previously then make sure they match any requirements they have provided you.

My spouse never received a UCI number or any correspondence from CIC. Thanks again for your help!

Which is weird, though not entirely unheard of, just very rare. She should have received notification that she's been approved as a sponsor. She should check her email including spam/junk folders as emails from CIC sometimes go in there.

We thought it was weird too. She has been checking her email and spam/junk everyday. She's visiting me in Dublin at the moment but no post in her mailbox either. However, no one in Canada has checked her post today...

I'd sya just sit on it a bit longer. The fact that you've been asked for pictures and passport copy is certainly positive and normally a sign that they are about to issue COPR... so I'd say wait maybe 3 or so weeks and then drop them an email for a follow-up if you haven't heard anything. But it's way too soon to stress over it, so just sit tight for now! :)

Hi can I be added to the spreadsheet please?

Thank you :D

So we just can't believe that we have had a positive decision made in less than two weeks. We are travelling asia so I called CIC to find out what the decision was. Just waiting on the approval letter which should be there when we return to Toronto. Please update the spread sheet. Can't believe they processed it so fast. Good luck to everyone!! :D

-Date posted to CIC 24th November 2014/ arrived 25th November
-Date application received in Mississauga: 17/02/2015
-Spousal application
-Date of sponsor approval: 25/02/2015
-Visa office N/A
-Principle applicant process started 25/02/1015
-Decision made 27/02/2014
-Medical Oct 2014

Has anyone heard from Victoriabound (perhaps on BE) in recent months? I'd love to know if their application has had any process, as it's been in Ottawa for nearly 9 months without requests for additional forms since July (according to the spreadsheet)...

Hey, our application is already at 13 months and we still haven't gotten any news from LVO while ECAS is still on Application Received. I sent a case specific inquiry last month, but unfortunately they updated the process time right at the same day, so they never answered to me. My medicals expired in January and we haven't hear anything about that either, in December they just told that they will contact if remeds are needed. Is there anything at this point we can do? Would it be possible to go to MP anyway even with the published process time being absurdly long? Last GCMS notes are from January and nothing had budged since they started Criminality in August. It's really hard when you get no news, not even one single request since the beginning and no idea if we get news this month or next year...

Can you confirm when your application was received in Mississauga? 25th November seems most likely but your second line says 17/02/2015.

Also your visa office was most likely Mississauga based on the quick decision made, it will say on your sponsor approval letter/e-mail. Please confirm.

I'm in a similar position. At 11th months, no issues with paperwork to cause delays, meds expire in a couple of weeks. Nothing moved on my application since August. I still have a year to run on my work permit so no reason to panic, but the wait is driving me crazy especially with so much 'green' after me in the spreadsheet.

There is nothing stopping you contacting your MP I think. I think it would be reasonable at this point since you app would have been in London for around 11 months. My plan is to wait until the anniversary of my application then order GCMS notes to see if there is any update, then take if from there.

So I'm getting ready to send off the application to change my status, from an IEC worker to Visitor while I'm still waiting for my PR.
I received my AOR on Feb 20th and a request for additional documents a few days later.
I am going to apply for 12 months as a visitor so that should give me plenty of time for my PR to come back and not have to think about renewing the visitors visa in 6 months time.
I am from a visa exempt country (UK) and have filed for PR under the family class as my wife is Canadian.
Does anyone have any advise about changing status or has anyone been down this route before? I hear they are pretty relaxed on status changes if you have a PR application in process?

Lots of threads on here and on BE about this. Send in your application for a change in status. Request 12 months, be prepared to only receive 6. (Might happen, might not.) Include proof of your application that you applied - fee receipt, copy of sponsor approval, copy of AOR, and so on. You should be just fine.

awesome thank you. totally forgot about including a copy of the fee receipt.
Its such a blessing to have such a great place to bounce ideas around and get peoples input and advise! :)

Almost at 7 weeks 'In Process' now...come oooooonnnnnnnnn London. I'm so envious of the Mississauga cases!
