sorry

- Date application received in Mississauga: 22/11/2014
- Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law: Married
- Date of sponsor approval: N/A
- Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application: London
- Date(s) of any other requests you've had: N/A
- Current location of the principal applicant: Thetford, England (currently in St. John's Newfoundland until working holiday visa runs out in April)
- Meds Done: 01/09/2014

Added! You do not have sponsor approval so I did not put London. Let us know when you get sponsor approval. You can find the average processing time on the spreadsheet which is linked in my signature.

Hi all,

So I got the email asking for photcopy of passport, update of information and additional photos (still not sure what they do with the six I sent with the application!!)

I have a quick question if anyone has gone through this part.

I saw on the last page that you can either send all of this to the UK, or if you already in Canada, then you can send it to Ottowa. Has anyone sent it to the Ottowa address?

Also, just out of interest how long from sending all this info does it take to receive the PR card? (UK or Ottowa)

Thanks once again for everyones help along the way!!

If you are going to be in Canada for 3 months, then send it to Ottawa (not Ottowa!). If you are not, then send it to London. There's no "keeping it simple", just follow the instructions as prescribed.

Very concerned with the 29month thing, but may be not as much to worry about as I first thought? How long is the average on the spreadsheet now?

Open the spreadsheet and look? All the average times are summarized nicely on the cover page of the spreadsheet, and in the charts below the detail section on a year-by-year basis.

Wow that"s extremely fast for London.Hi Graihn, hope you have settled in well.

Hey, yes, I have. Although I can't stand the cold. Moved from a +7 Stockholm to a -20 Kitchener... lol. At least I got a job with one of the Big 4 firms so can't complain!

Awesome, congrats, and updated! Don't forget to let us know when you get COPR in the post! :)

Another week and it still looks like there is zero movement from London. From keeping an eye on the forum and spreadsheet, it looks like there has been nothing happening with anyone since the 15th January :(

Not quite true...

London Decision Mades were through on 17-Feb, 30-Jan, 29-Jan, and 15-Jan, as the last 4 most recent. Only 5 are through from Mississauga since 15-Jan, and only one from Ottawa... so not really much different than the other offices...

Ah I missed you - we weren't tracking offices for 2013 applicants, so I missed that! :) But yes, that is accurate! So yeah, London definitely not slacking!

Yes, it wil be a signed-for package as well, so also watch for that red Royal Mail delivery notice, in case the postie tries to deliver it when you aren't around. That will be your COPR. :)

Hi,
I moved to my home country three month ago to wait there for the decision. Also changed my address in CIC website.
Today I have got an email from CIC, that they asked me to confirm where I am living.

Does changing location make any change in the processing steps? I am wondering why they are asking when they have my new address. I am worried that they will prolong the background checking.

On January 8 we received an email from LVO requesting more cohabitation/relationship proof. We sent our proof and LVO received it February 2. Just check ECAS today and we are "In Progress" as of February 20. It's so nice to see something change on ECAS :)

What is your home country? What were your reasons for moving? Did you provide a police check for that country initially?
