Awesome, updated. A question, though, I see the PA is Pakistani, and you are currently located in Pakistan, so how is it that you are able to apply through London? Did you originally apply to Islamabad, and then your file was transferred to London? OR did you apply directly to London?

[/quote]The Islamabad VO has become overloaded and processing time is 33 month. The CIC has shifted the Spousal sponsorship applications to LVO since August 2013. Therefore new applications (as ours) as well as old ones from Islamabad have been transfered there.

Hi all,

I might have made a mistake for the spreadsheet, I had received a letter dated May 2nd, from Mississauga,
but on ECAS it noted

We received application for permanent residence on March 4, 2014.

Does this mean the letter was typed and sent to me just notifying us that the application was sent to London.... ??? ???

Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:

Mississauga, ON

Or

RPRF payments or other correspondence:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4H4

2. I want to sent a copy to LVO what is the email that i use to send ?
3. I might be moving to a different city, how do I let the LVO know of an address change?
4. And finally this one might sound silly. When i log on to my account it says application recieved , is that where it changes once its in proccess??
5. And finally to SchookoLoly, my wife is the sponsor and I am based in Ipswich, United Kingdom

1. Use the second address for RPRF payments, that's where I sent mine
2. I did not send a copy to London as I was instructed it all needs to go to Mississauga, perhaps someone else can help you with this
3. I would update them once you have moved, you can use the case specific enquiry or if that is not working you can email LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
4. Yes it changes to in process and decision made there

I find the thread is great, having the spreadsheet is cool too! but it might not be a bad idea if the abbreviations could be listed
as new members like meself, end up doing a google search to find out what they mean.

We received our AOR by email on Sep 2. We just called CIC yesterday (Sep 12) because we still haven't received anything in the mail. They confirmed that I was approved for sponsorship and that our file is being processed in the Mississauga, ON office rather than London, UK (which was what we originally requested). I guess the London office is a little backed up at the moment? We're still waiting for the letter with the sponsorship approval .. but are less stressed because they were able to confirm approval over the phone.

From what my partner gathers, my background checks may have taken a little longer because I lived abroad for several years.

Feels great to finally have SA! Yeeee

So, I hope that whoever receives requests via email at the LVO and updates adrdesses aren't involved in working on cases...

Update of address in June: They put the street number as apartment number and vice versa.

Update of address last week: They left out the apartment number, had the wrong zip code, put the city as Lindigo instead of Lidingö.

Not a sharp cookie, I hope they dont issue a CoPR in the next few days..

Hi Keego,

I would take this to mean that they received your application package on March 4th. This is not the date they started working on it or approved anything, just the date that they received it. What date did you send it? You would get a notification letter telling you that your sponsor has been approved and at that point your application to be sponsored has been forwarded to whichever office that part will be processed in.

Just a quick question for those people who have received their copr in the post!
Was it posted through your letter box or did you have to sign for it?

Im waiting for mine and I'm just wondering how it will be delivered. They asked for some extra documents to issue the visa such as a copy of my passport, i sent those off but haven't heard anything back so im guessing the copr will just be sent to me without any more correspondence?
