The UCI number should have been listed on the letter approving sponsorship.

LOL.. If that is your theory I think you are wrong :P

I know it is hard, I have been there. But try to keep in mind there are also 16 people who applied before you still waiting as well. One of them applied last August and has been waiting over a year! So know you are not alone :)

Seems really random I was able to log on straight after we received our SA by email, but the only difference being our application went to Ottawa.

Yes the number was listed for me the sponsor but i still get the message can not find any info on your file . I thought the applicant my husband would also receive some sort of email from London with a UCI # on it to when the package was sent to London, other wise how can we check the status if i can't get onto mine and he don't have any communication with London...

There should also be a file number beginning with F

This is what the applicant can use to log into ECAS

Just a quick update for the spreadsheet

August 27th, email request for missing documents
(Not really "missing", IMM1344 was updated the day I mailed out my application and they are requesting that new version from me)

It's so exciting to finally get in isn't it! For some reason I was able to log once I got my sponsor approval letter with a UCI number on it...seems like it works different ways for different people. Really good to be connected though.

Yh it seems that way, for me I could log in right away after SA, some people it takes about a week after SA and some people who have had communication with CIC but haven't had SA yet can also log in

Its one of those CIC mysteries I suppose..

Oh and now you can both log in, the OCD of ECAS checking will begin.. Enjoy!! haha :)

My wife's option c printout arrived last night. I will spend the weekend dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

I'm hoping for a okay process as my current work permit (PGWP) expires in August 1015.

I will be submitting on Tuesday
