We appear to have been credited 150CAD from CIC - this must be the 150 I paid for my husband's son to be included even though we was non accompanying as he was still a dependant.

When we applied the dependent age was under 22, now it's under 19 and he is 19.....so maybe CIC have decided that since the rule has changed before they reviewed the case, he doesn't need to be included anymore?

Nice to get the refund! And to feel like they are looking at our file :)
You didn't have to pay if hes not accompany you, thats why you got a refund. He had to be included if he was a dependent at the time. He will still have the opportunity to come because the date was locked in with your application.

Yes your Medicals are valid for a year so it's usually tied to that

When I got my copr in August my landing date was December 2015 which is one year after I did my Medicals
Ok that makes sense, thanks!

Hello I'm new to this and I am only replying since I'm confused as to what is happening with my application. I am a born and raised british citizen married to a canadian citizen. My husband is sponsoring me in Canada whilst I'm currently living in England. On the 21st August I received an email from the London Office which said:
Your application has reached the final stage of processing. So that your permanent resident
visa(s) can be issued, you must now submit the documents listed below. (Note that family
members who are entitled to Canadian citizenship must travel on their Canadian passports.)
1. Two recent photographs of yourself and two recent photographs of each of your
accompanying family members. The photos must meet the Photo Specifications as detailed
in Appendix A.
2. The “Updated Information Chart” in Appendix B, fully completed for you and each
accompanying family member.
3. A photocopy of the photo and personal information pages of your passport and of the
passport(s) of your accompanying spouse and dependent children to our office in London.
Submit the documents within 30 days of the date of this correspondence according to the
instructions in Appendix C. Please also include a copy of this correspondence with your
submission. All documents for you and your accompanying family members must be submitted
together in one package.

Whilst I was collecting the documents needed, my status online turned from 'Application Received' to 'Decision Made'. This is before I sent the documents requested. Does this mean that my application has been accepted and the documents requested are needed to issue my visa?
Thankyou!

What's that request? They have asked you for more documents?
First they asked us for a police check from Dubai, which had they checked the file was not needed and now since they have checked the file after the dubai thing we need a police check for Saudi. First request (Dubai) was mid July and now this one (Saudi) comes mid-August.

Hi all,

Just a quick update. We landed Thursday at Pearson, and it was much easier than anticipated. We were far less than an hour (though they said that the day before was sooo much worse). They didn't ask for our B4 forms (that we worked so hard on!), but they also didn't give my partner any kind of welcome information. Oh well, we're here and we're thrilled.

Good! I hope it is, sent off my documents last week so now I'm anxiously waiting to see what happens. They also asked me to enclose a self-addressed envelope along with the documents requested. So I wonder what they will be sending to me, all communication has been via email.

Its definitely a different way of doing things, mine was just sent to me - I didn't need to provide a self addressed envelope

But in my opinion the only thing they can be sending you is your copr

To my knowledge they cant refuse you without an interview or by asking for more evidence

And they have asked your for copies of your passport - they need these to issue copr so I really think you will be getting yours shortly

Yes I've been doing some research and my application process has been different to other people. My application didn't say 'in process' , one day it said application received then the next it said decision made.
At the end of the letter they did say they'd be in contact within 4 weeks, so I hope within that allotted time they'll send me my copr in the self addressed envelope.

Not seeing in process is normal, lots of people didn't get that either so don't worry to much about that - if fact some people had their copr arrive before any update was made in ECAS at all!

After decision made its anywhere from a couple days to a month before people receive their copr so the 4 week time frame sounds ok to me

Good luck :)

You did not include police report from Dubai and Saudi in your application or they are expired? Do you know if they will ask another police report if it is expired at the time of processing?

Anyone else having problems sending emails to LVO?

I sent an email last week to change my address for a new one in Canada and noticed this week I had made a mistake, so I tried to send a new email this morning to tell them the real house number. This time, though, I got a mail back saying that it's undeliverable because their email box is full! I tried sending again few hours later with the same results.
