Hi. Quick question.
We have got SA and file is sent to London abt a month ago.
After that, I moved to Sweden, and in a month my sponsor is moving within Canada (same city).
Does my sponsor need to update the mailing address (got SA)?

Where do I and how do I update my address? Email, mail, ?

You can send a case-specific enquiry to London to update both addresses - what they care about mostly is your mailing address. So if your mailing address has changed (either because you had written down the former one from your sponsor, or any other reason), then update them - send a case-specific enquiry to London VO to update them about your file - as London will be mailing out your COPR without notice, you want to make sure that the mailing address is correct.
Good luck,
Sweden

Thanks Sweden!
I just want to make sure I hae the right address so I don't waste a month. Do you have it by any chance?

address can be changed on the ecas....! Its far better to change the address on ecas rather than sending a CSE to LVO. I hope u get what i am saying.

Thanks

There is no good reason to not do both.

I was under the impression that I cannot do it in ecas because I am applying Outland ?

You can do it via ECAS or send a case specific enquiry to London VO.

Hey, again. I cannot update it in E-CAS, as I have moved to Sweden (due to work visa expiring and a job in Stockholm).
I knew there was some reason why I could not update it there (I know I can update the sponsors)

What is the email address for letting LVO know of my new address? Anyone?

We don't have a column for interviews but I have added the interview under notes.

How much notice were you given for your interview? And how did it go?

Happy Saint Patrick's Day !

I had a bleary-eyed surprise today at the hospital - whilst showing my elderly father in law how we check ecas for immigration updates on our application I saw Decision Made !

That's 6 months and 12 days since spousal approval I believe !

I have not been called back to London for an interview and I have had no correspondence so I hope it is a positive decision :D

Congratulations! That's a beautiful way of finding out the great news! Good luck with the rest and happy reunion :)

Since London hasn't asked for anything, there is a good chance that it's positive (unless you have a totally unreasonable application!). So...the COPR should just show up anytime now at your door :-) Congratulations! what an excellent way to find out...

You can send a case-specific enquiry through here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/london.asp - it's about the same as sending them an email.

Processing times for London VO have increased to 11 months as per the updated processing times on CICs webiste :(

Oh no!! Does that apply to everyone who still has applications in process? Ours is coming up to 10 months! I don't want to wait another month before contacting them. Would the 11 months. apply to my situation?
