I think if your DM was made last week, a COPR should already be in the post to you, regardless of the new PAFSO action. My DM was made on Thursday 25 July, and as my address is still in the UK, it arrived at my house the next day i.e. it looks like they post the COPR the same day as they update Ecas.

I do hope you are right. We got our DM on the 25th as well. Still nothing in the post. I'm pulling my hair out! Hope it comes tomorrow. I just want to know if we have been approved or not. If the actual COPR takes a while to get to us, I can live with that. I just want to know what decision they've made lol

Don't worry, it's definitely a positive decision, otherwise they would have requested an interview. It will be a nice shiny COPR.....well, it doesn't actually shine but it seems like in does in all the excitment

Happy days! Interesting that you got a DM on a Sunday. Makes you wonder if they were clearing out the ones very close to completion before the full strike started today...

So here's my update for today..

Last heard from CIC on the 4th of this month when they told me they were still doing background checks and that they'd extended my medical for a year..

So I reply to the email today asking if there's any news.. Now normally I deal with someone using the initials 'CDD', however today I got an automated response.. Generic stuff, we'll reply in 28days etc etc etc..

Seems that my email was diverted to another mailbox.. Either 'CDD' is bored of hearing from me or 'CDD' is joining the picket line!!

Fast approaching 5 months 'In Process' and 1 year in total from paperwork beig received by CIC..

Soul destroying?? Much?? I'll say.. Tired and mildly pissed off at the incompetence.. Ho hum!!
