Thanks Sweden, I've wrote a very general list northing too specific and printed a b4 just incase! But not filled it in yet, will just wait and see if they want it or not.
Landing tomorrow morning!! Very excited/nervous and still in disbelief it's almost completely over :)
Good luck to everyone still waiting :)
Have a safe travel, and welcome to Canada soon! the landing process is almost "disappointing" because it's so quick, it feels like after waiting for so long, it would be a bigger deal - but it isn't!

Congrats! Good luck with the landing :)

I'm very jealous. I hope my application goes as quick as yours!

Have anyone had success (and recommendations) for the medical insurance while waiting for their PR in Canada (or until the provincial health plan kicks in)

I'm based in Toronto as a Visitor and need to sort out new medical insurance.

I've taken a one month insurance with Manulife, the process was easy enough online, but I can't say much about it, as I haven't used it for now - I just wanted to have something before the provincial plan (BC for me) kicks in...
Good luck,
Sweden

Also from another thread (courtesy of Rob_TO):
A good place to start for basic quotes is http://www.kanetix.ca/travel-visitors-to-canada ("You have moved to Canada and are awaiting coverage under a provincial health insurance plan"). Compares several insurers at the same time to get best price. I've found for 1 person to get the most basic general health emergency insurance, costs around $50 per month.

Awesome....thanks for the info Sweden. I am dropping my pp off in person on Thursday and will collect it two weeks after that. That's the time frame they have given me.
Good luck to everyone else who is waiting...especially the non visa exempt applicants, seems like they punish us but it might just come through quicker like mine did.
Congrats! I have been following your timeline since I started reading here :)

Just checked eCAS this morning and couldn’t believe my eyes – DECISION MADE!!!! Woohoo! It says the office will be contacting us regarding the decision but we haven’t heard anything yet. I hope it’s the decision we’re looking for! When my sponsorship was approved I received an email before eCAS was even updated. Does anyone have experience on what I should expect next? Maybe a phone call or letter in the post? :)

Normally you get email.

But if you are visa exempt then you'll receive COPR in post in few days.

Congrats

Yay!!!! That is excellent news! You should receive your email soon and fingers crossed that its to confirm your COPR is on the way :)
You are only a couple of rows above me on the spreadsheet and have given me hope that I'll hear soon :)

Thanks Blueboom, dropped my PP off this afternoon with London VO. They said it might be ready in a week but no more than two weeks!! If you post or use the drop box, it says six weeks! They will not contact you to say it is ready so I will go back in a week and check.
Congrats to all those who are getting PPR and COPR lately and good luck to those still waiting.
