I wish! :-) but I don't think it means they are "working on your file" - i think it means that they have matched the medicals ( that arrived much earlier) to your file, and they have received your file. It's probably now in the queue... which is good news! both that your file has been received, they have found the medicals and added - my file did that in the first 3 or 4 days it got there ( and the address for sponsor and applicants were updated etc) - so I was very happy to see movements on ecas, but then - nothing in the last 6 weeks.... waiting and waiting. But -it's only been 6 weeks, so it's normal... I'm not holding my breath ( at least - not anymore, and not now!)...
Good luck!

ah okay thanks, well at least I know both parts are there safe :)

I really hope I haven't forgotten any forms or forgotten to sign anything so it all goes smooth, I would love my PR by the end of the year but with the huge pause that seems to be coming from london right now I'm beginning to doubt it especially with the update to 8 months! Lets hope you hear back soon then I know I'm not too long behind haha :)

Well we were told London were working on our application as of August 10th. I checked the site this morning and it says decision made but we don't know what that decision is yet bc it says it will be in writing and we haven't got a letter yet. The suspense is killing me!!!!

Just over 3 months? That's not bad :)

Good luck im sure it's a good one :) I'm guessing they'd have asked you for more proof before giving a negative response :)

I am my file has only been transferred to London a few days ago and already I'm feeling nervous. Its so scary to have someone scrutinizing your relationship to see if its real when you know it is. Good luck to everyone, lets hope London start issuing COPR like crazy now they've had their successful olympics :)

omg just read cic site and descion has been made they only started procesing file in the 22 in london
and they have already made a descion do you think that it is a postive one if it has only take 2days? so scared

probably a good decision, if you have sent all the documents needed and there is no read flag, the decision was easy - if they had some doubts they would have asked for more information, but if they didn't it's probably a positive answer! :-)
Congrats!

Same as for the previous applicant - if you had sent all documents and your case is straightforward, then probably it's a positive decision! :-) otherwise if they had doubts about your relationship they would have asked for more documents...
Good luck for the last waiting part, and congrats! :-)

Nope we applied in February. My sponsorship was approved may 31 then London began working on it on august 10

What are the different stages you see on your ecas? and what do they all mean?

I just want to know what to expect :)

if you log in with your File number and click on "application received" you will have the description of the possible status... but it doesn't mean that they will follow the order. Some applicants went from application received to decision made, some had "in process" in between... very unpredictable - CIC!

Ahh I wish they could understand that simple little things like following a procedure and doing things the same for everyone would make everyone less stressed haha

Congratulations Scooper81 and thisdj1! I'm sure they must be good decissions, or they would've asked for more information. Two together after weeks of nothing, great news!!
