Sweden - thank you very much for your help I will go in to the website and just et them know that I am moving end this month and hubby staying with us for 1 month then travelling back! but he will be doing this everymonth because of his job he has around 2 weeks off but, we will keep the airline tickets etc etc.

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times over but who did you guys get your supporting letters from? My boyfriends' parents are writing one (which will be notarised), and the owner of the nightclub I used to work at is writing another one for me, and so is my closest friend. I'm not sure who I should use for the second notarised one. Should I try and get one from my side of the family? My mum (lives in England) knows about the relationship but has not met my boyfriend but she wouldn't have a problem writing the letter. It'd just take some time for her to get it done and then to post it over here.

Sorry, rambling, but this whole process is just starting to get me down now (a feeling I'm sure you're all very familiar with!) and I just want to get the bloody thing done.

Thanks :)

Hi All members!

I got a question regarding the bring forward date. I was asked to redo a chest x-ray before they finalize the process which is the final touch as everything else is completed and the letter i received from Cic London in regard to addition medical request stated that i had to submit the requested info within 90 days which i already did within a week, so coming to question does the officer have to look at my file again after 90 days or is it like s/he has to look at it when received it?

Has anyone encountered the some process or has experience on this matter? Your comments will be appreciated.

Thanks

I am in a similar position to you so will be interested to hear anything anyone has to say about this. In my case everything was submitted after 90 days had elapsed so I am curious to know how that fits with the bring forward date.

Hi,

Don't worry too much! They should reply to you within 30 days. I was requested to submit additional information on May 18th by CIC. I replied on the same day and got the sponsorship approval on June 11th. I asked same question as yours in this forum before.

just relax and wait

good luck

Michelle

still waiting on reply from cic. shows on cic web that they're processing app received on 29 feb has been showing this for past few weeks, getting frustrated! i would like to know that if i change my uk address and move to canada would my app take longer than usual to be completed. atleast if i move to canada my children can start school because they're canadian citezens. confused...

That is what I did. I came to Canada as a visitor. My hubsand is a PR. My children started school here. I sent in application under out of Canada category and renewed my visitor visa earlier this year. I couldn't work or get free medical service though. Medical is the main thing you probably need to bear in mind.

Hi liuminparis

Thank you for your comment on the subject. i am not worried that much. I was just trying to figure it out. I just wanted to ask you that was it the sponsorship part you got approved within 30 days period after you had submitted what they asked for or was it the PR application abroad part? Because it depends on case to case.

Has anybody from who filed an application in Jan 2012 or Feb 2012 using the London Visa Office had CORP.

There does not appear to be any London VO on the Jan 2012 spread sheet.

The spreadsheet for London shows three people who filed in January have had their COPR, but those were all people who got sponsor approval really quickly (39-45 days).

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AovjfA1KvIIIdDR3NnZvd3JKZlZ0aURxWWZzUUNub0E&authkey=CJyi-IYE#gid=0

I filed in late February and I'm not expecting to see my COPR until early September at the very earliest.

All seems to have gone quiet...

Hopefully they are processing so quickly, they don't have time to update eCas!!! (wishful thinking...)

definitely.
Our house is sold, the cat has her flight back to canada and we are due to leave the UK on September 14th and go via New York. Would be nice to know when we get there all is relatively sorted so we can just sail through customs and immigration, find jobs then find a place to live and move forward!!! I do not do stress and risk very well.

Hi sorry to respond late. I haven't come to this website for a couple of days. To answer your question, it was the sponsorship stage that I was asked for a missing signature on one of the forms. I submitted it and got approved after about 25 days

Good luck

Depending if you are a EU citizen or A British national you wont have PPR. If you are from another country outside EU then you will have PPR. :D
