Hi All,

I have a question about the 8 photographs we have to send that arent quite passport pictures! I live in South Devon - does anyone know of anyone who does them around the area - or do certain companies do them? I saw in my post office passport photo booth machine an option for 'visa photos' but I dont think they are quite the correct size - has everyone been very specific and to the millimetre when doing them?

Thanks everyone :)

What 8 photos? Did I miss something important.... :-\ :o :o :o :o :o
Or perhaps it was 8 I sent with the application..can't remember now cuz I am all stressed out!

As MDSB said.
You can pay it all in advance or pay half up front and wait for the request to pay the rest. However this can significantly delay the processing of your application.
If you havent paid the full amount yet I recommend you do and send receipt to Mississauga.
Good luck!

Oh right... I paid that along with the application fee to avoid delays. Thanks.

eCAS will update when the application is received in London. Usually takes about 10-14 days for that to happen. After that, you may see it change to "in process" with or without "medical results have been received". If it changes with medical results, your spouse can look out for an email from London within 4-8 weeks for a request to submit his passport. If it changes without the medicals, it may take somewhat longer for the passport request (PPR). London is currently averaging somewhere around 120-150 days to complete a file. So you may find he could be approved by year's end!

Found this comment quite interesting ;D

You can change your adddress on eCAS ;)

Hi everyone

The london VO has updated my home address two days ago. I am just wondering does that mean they started working on my application.?

Your comment on this would be highly appreciated

Thanks

Any may of June applications had or still waiting there PPR from London??

June here and still waiting!

May and waiting. It's getting tiresome now, particularly as the people who submitted just days before me got their PPRs about a month ago. Ecas changed to "in process" along with medical results ten days ago, but ecas is so hit-and-miss that doesn't seem to mean a great deal.

Hi Chrischris, it sucks its taking such a long time for you, I can see that you have no kids been married for a while so should be straight forward, but do you have things like, lived in other places abroad they have to check, been in the army maybe, dare i say it, but any criminal convictions, (sorry) all these can add onto your time.

Hope you hear something soon :)

Hi Mandy, no there shouldn't be anything that will excite them, with the possible exception of me having lived in Canada nine years ago under a working holiday visa. But that should hardly be a situation that they're not quite familiar with! There were no irregularities with my visa and I never had any issues with the law or border control or anything like that.

I don't feel it's a problem with my application personally, since as far as I know, nobody that submitted after I did has got their PPR yet either, it just seems that the London VO has ground to a halt.

chrischris...i feel your pain
like you say london seem to have ground to a halt for us late maybies...

i'm not as stressed about it as i'm in cnada with my wife t the moment anyway but feel for those who are still part...it sucks!!

anyone know how i notify london of an address change?
do i write to the london embassy with my file number
change it on-line with e-cas?
or both?
any help much appreciated thanks
