Hello everyone.
I was doing some research on the Spreadsheet and have been PMing people to see what their status is. I got this reply from DesiVoodoo. Could someone update the spreadsheet with this information?
Thanks!
Regarding your query, we sent in the passport for stamping on the 10th of September and received it back with a positive decision made incl. COPR on the 5th of October. My spouse landed as a PR on the 28th of October at Toronto and except for the standard verification procedures, the immigration process went really well.
Hello, If you go to this website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp you should be able to check. I use my UCI number to check, but you can also use the application file number with the Name of the person who is being sponsored. The UCI number works with the Sponsor. I hope this helps you.

The London immigration office is requesting an FBI fingerprint check from me. I am currently in Calgary Alberta. Is it possible to complete it in Calgary and mail it to them?

Has anyone done the landing at their local office before?

We are hopefully finally going to land successfully on January 8 at the Calgary CIC office, but am a bit confused about how that works - the call center seemed to think that our new (and hopefully functional) COPR would be sent directly there, and that we would need to bring our own photos.

However, the London office emailed us last week telling us our new COPR will be mailed to us once they get new photos of my partner out of the archives in Sweden (which seems very bizarre).

Has anyone gone through the internal landing before that can shed some light on this? I have had way too much conflicting information from the CIC.

I have the option on eCAS to do the update there under the principal applicant login. However, it may also be wise to send a Case Specific Enquiry to London with the details.

It sounds like your call center is confused between outland and inland. From what I understand: if you apply inland, the COPR is sent to the local CIC office, and they call the applicant ( or send a letter) with a date for the "final interview" (the landing part).
If outland: the VO sends you the (hopefully correct) COPR, and you can go either to a local CIC office, OR to the border to "land". Maybe London has contacted Calgary to give you a landing date (if you call yourself there might be a big delay)...

From the inland applicants' landing experience, it seems to be a fairly straightforward process, pretty much the same as flagpoling at the border : ID checks, signing of COPR, and that's it...

Hopefully it will all be solved soon, you've waited long enough!

Thanks Sweden, I actually got an email from London VO today saying that they have finally put our new COPR in the mail (despite saying on November 15th that they had already done this...).

I called the call center again and they re-assured me that with an outland COPR, even with a landing appointment in the future at a Canadian office, I can still flagpole before this date and cancel that appointment.

Fingers crossed this works this time (4th time's a charm for for us for flag-poling hopefully). It is a bit disheartening seeing applications fly through start to finish in the same time-frame that we have been waiting for London to re-issue the faulty COPR.

I would strongly suggest that when all this is over, you apply for your GCMS notes via ATIP and find out exactly what the hell was going on..

I received mine yesterday and I have to say that it was very obvious that they started to screw up on mine from almost day 1. Rather than detecting the error, they just blindly propagated it all the way through until the faulty COPR arrived on my doorstep.
