No one is ever home during the day at my house we are all at work. Could I put my work's address on the envelope?
Knowing my luck it would be sent to work on a day i'm off!

As I was already in Canada, I put my friend's address on the envelope and she fedexed it over to me in Canada. They just sent it there and it was fine. She was actually at work when it arrived so they left one of those card things and she just needed to go to the local post office and sign for it.

Any news with PPRs or getting back passports??

Blah, I have to call call center on tuesday again :-X
I have still not receive nothing what comes to visitor visa. I am stressed. What if it got lost or something? Couple weeks ago, the call center advice me to send my passport, because they have to give extra 2 weeks after the date on website.
So scared and stressed. Stupid us, sent the visitor visa application for regular mail... :-[

Don't worry Millu, you'll have passport back in a couple of weeks hopefully, and then you can land you'll be a PR and you won't have to worry about the visitor extension anymore.

Just wanted to get in on this thread as my application has been sent in the post to Mississauga this weekend!
Am applying to live in Quebec so will have to wait for that stage also...so looking forward to when it (hopefully!!) gets sent to London for processing!
Have been reading this forum a lot and found all the tips and advice very helpful.

London outland application - I know of an application (work colleagues) that arrived at CIC on february 14th 2011, her eCas is active today (13th March 2011).
Processing started on the 11th March, Decision made, letter sent 11th March 2011. (25 days).
