Little query...does anyone know why we had to send my fiance's passport to 'PUP Priority' instead of 'PHEP Processing'? Is it a good thing? Ive always liked priority treatment - but is it an evil trick to ruin my happiness?!?!

Hi everyone...had to find the London thread on page 2 so things must be slowing down in the snow. I am also applying from the UK and just received my sponsorship approval. Now the long wait begins for London. Hope they are working quickly despite the snow and we have a rush of passport requests before Christmas!

Not a lot happening in London right now I think. I received sponsorship approval on 19 November and have heard nothing since.

Am hoping to get PPR end of January sometime. Fingers crossed.

I too am hoping end of January, beginning of Feb to get PPR. Hope that isn't too much wishful thinking. I am not far behind you on timeline so lets hope we will both have some good news in the New Year.

my timeline is also pretty much the same. file transfer was mid november. havent heard anything since.

Hey guys

I'm happy to find many people in the same boat as me - awaiting in the dark for further progress!

I'm on a work visa from the UK in Canada at the moment. I've applied (outland) for common law with my girlfriend and according to the website, London began processing on November 3rd, with the note saying 'medicals received'.

My question is how will London contact me if they require passport, interview further info etc? Is it by letter or email? I'm a little nervous if it's by letter as we recently moved and although we've informed London I'm worried a letter might slip through the net!

We are having a great laugh up in Northern Onatario. London On/UK, get dumped on and we don't have a drop of snow on the ground yet. I am hoping that changes!

Mandi It was just over a month before I had an update on ecas and i am only two weeks ahead of you, so hopefuly the snow hasn't slowed them down too much and you will get some news in the next week!

hahha, i always forget to add ontario i told my friends when we moved here that we are moving to london, and they were like, wow thats super cool! hahaha
and more snow...in london ontario come on,i think 100cm is enough.

im just interested...how many of you would return your home country(or somewhere else) IF(hopefully never happens to any of us!)you and
your partner separated???
