I am a 24 Feb applicant, and received AOR on the 11th April. The CIC website says that, as of 21 April, they are working on applications received on the 25th. Doesn't that mean we should have heard something by now?
Wohoo!!! Life from London. CongratsCanadianInUK said:Oh. My. God. We have Decision Made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah - we called yesterday (my wife is sponsoring me and lives in Canada) & the agent was very helpful. Said that they were backed up at the moment, and that there are cases granted SA but that hadn't been informed yet...NVJ said:I am 19 Feb app and 10 April AOR and i've not heard anything either! Also... On CIC site it says if the time has passed (ie 61 days) and the sponsor lives INSIDE Canada then you should call, so if, like me, you both live outside Canada,, it might take a bit longer.
I see that people from August are hearing back finally.taffy7 said:Come on London,we all have lives to get on with . Spreadsheet updated! Congratulations!christof135 said:Yeahhhhhh DM this morning!!!! Also an email asking to send updated Information form, 2 new photos and a copy of passport photo and information pages.
2 questions:
1: It says to fill in for spouse and any dependants. I presume that again, this is only if my spouse wasn't my sponsor? (she's a Canadian Citizen and we don't have any dependants) same question for a copy of her passport? Not needed right?
Secondly: it says to send EVERYTHING to the London office in Canada house, trafalgar square. However just below it says that if I'm living in Canada for the next few months (which I am) I can send the PASSPORT PAGES to the Ottawa office. If I took this literally it would mean sending photos and updated info sheet to London and passport pages to Ottawa. This seems far-fetched. Do they mean to say that I can send everything to Ottawa seeing as I'm living here.
Thanks again for all your help on here everyone. Especially andrew-brit and Schnookololy. You guys have made a turbulent few months (years for some) bearable with your sterling advice, expertise and guidance.

The average starts from when CIC-Mississauga receives your application, so December in your case.Jonesy319 said:Hi all,
when you look at the spreadsheet (excellent job by the way!) it says approvals by office - my partner's is going through London - does the average months start from when the total application was received or from when sponsorship approval was received?
When I look at ecas it says his application was received in December, I got SA in February so does the clock start ticking from Dec or Feb?
Thanks in advance!

After 10 days and multiple chasers I finally have an update from my MPs office.taffy7 said:Come on London,we all have lives to get on with . Now, I'm taking that update with a pinch of salt because I sounds just like translation of what I saw in my notes. They did indeed review eligibility and request an RCMP check in August last year... I was more curious as to why no updates since!I was able to connect with our contact at CIC and he indicated that your application is actively being processed. Currently the background checks are being worked and the eligibility is in progress. The medicals are ok for now. He was not able to give me a timeframe for the completion of the application, so I have sent an inquiry directly to London to see if they have an updated timeline that they can provide for you. When I hear from London, I will be sure to forward on the information to your attention.
Thank you - this is great especially as we are moving back in August; taking a bit of a punt but either way we'll be staying for a year. If he doesn't get in I have to get rid of all my stuff in storage etc. and close down my business, stop paying for my Rogers cell phone etc. etc. etc.andrew-brit said:The average starts from when CIC-Mississauga receives your application, so December in your case.
