Yay, got GCMS notes (23 pages) in the mail today. It looks pretty good. They have "in progress" on about 2 of the 4 categories of checks.

When did you request them?

I trust your medical has been received -- let me know if that's not showing as complete and I'll get you the details of our fax again.

Yeah, all I can say is don't give up hope you guys, sometimes it takes a little longer but it'll comes thru. Things should pick up for the older Jan ones too.

Oh and what's this Fort Erie? I thought we had to send the passport to Buffalo but now it's saying that if you're in Canada send it to Ontario

You can send the passport directly to Buffalo by courier (that's what we did but we're in Canada). But include a prepaid national Xpresspost envelope from Fort Erie to you if you live in Canada otherwise they will send the passport back snail mail. Buffalo sends the passports by diplomatic courier to Fort Erie so they will be processed with Canada Post.

Mega-congrats chess101!!!

Let's hope Buffalo does some more "fall cleaning" and gets the rest of these old cases off the shelf!

I am pleased to report that chess101 has been updated in the spreadsheet. Now we need ndbella to hear some good news soon as that's the oldest non-PPR left.

May we please be updated as well. We got a request for more info on July 19, 2011. Thank you

I added it in the comments as well as the IA/Docs Request columns. Although surely they sent you an AOR already - something tells me the VO wouldn't request additional information if they haven't already sent an AOR out.

My understanding was that they send them to the satellite offices precisely for the purpose of speeding up the processing (cuz they can't handle it over there, I guess), so that would make sense!

So far being transferred to NYC has sparked the most action I've ever seen on my case. Not one, but TWO e-cas updates after less than a month at the new VO!

I updated karla718. I'm gonna leave what's in the spreadsheet already as is. I personally think it is too odd that her timeline per her signature says the stuff it does, starting with the Jan. 2010 filing (must be a typo).

The spreadsheet has her as December 2010. I noticed the dates in her sig were different too. I dunno. (I have entirely too much time on my hands right now, haha.)

Happy to see those who were transferred finally see some action. I can only imagine the extra level of confusion and worry a transfer would add to this process!

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum but I have found all your experiences very useful and hope-inspiring!

I am submitting my outland application today so we will see what happens.

My husband is Canadian and I have US and French nationality (I dunno if that complicates things or not). We just got married on August 20th in France after dating and living together for several years. I am currently on visitor status in Toronto. I had already done the med exam and requested the police clearance in April because we were going to apply under common law to get the application in sooner but we were told by a customs officer on a trip to Canada to just wait until we were married. So that is what we did.

Good luck to everyone waiting on their applications!

I'll have to figure out how to do the signiture thing :)
