Hang in there. I find it kinda off they waived your interview in January and you are still waiting for PPR. I always thought the interview is waived toward the end of the ordeal, but what do I know?

Still Waiting, Wrote a letter to my MP three weeks ago....have heard nothing back. I just want to get our lives started. I really feel like our application was lost... :'(

Well just received our CAIPS notes... by EMAIL!! Nice to know we don't have to wait for them to be mailed. We did the application as an Access to Information Requset ($5 fee) because we didn't have proof my husband was in Canada (no passport stamp).

The email I recieved states our application for the notes was received on July 18 and the last note visible on the file is from Jul 29. We received PPR on Aug 11 so the print off of the CAIPS notes must have been sometime between Jul 29 and Aug 10. We'll probably put another request in after my husband lands so that we can see the details.

How many pages were there?

So they include stuff in there even after the date of receipt of the request - that's good to know.

Normally the file is a whole pile of print screens, you get the information on file at the time it is actually checked.

ok, so assuming these things take up to a month to come back, because of a backlog of trying to process earlier requests i suppose, that's still several weeks of possible new changes on the screens between when they get the request and when they process it, right?

9 pages. And it is just a bunch of print screens so the header information doesn't always line up... very messy.

Xpresspost can go to either address (it is not courier so can go to a PO box) but if you use the first address you cannot get a signature.

Can't remember exactly when I sent this request in since I had originally made the request in May but sent it to the wrong place. Think it was about 5-6 weeks.

congratulations navigator! my hubby and I will be driving from Nova Scotia to Calais, Maine to do our landing in September.
