It's now looking more like mid-late April for us, DKA. :'(

Shhhh Pharoh! I'm wishing for a miracle here!

Oh guys!!!!! Let's be positive that we'll get PPR before the end of this Month! lol

Ok hi guys,
I've been following your posts for awhile, trying to get a sense of my time line.
Here's my info:
Approval for sponsorship: Aug.20
File sent to Buffalo: Early Sept
Started processing in Buffalo: Sept 27

Inteview was waived but they requested the Right of Permanent residence be paid, I received a letter from Mississauga stating that they received the payment and sent the info to Buffalo ( Dec.02) When I call the info line it says documents were forwarded to Buffalo in Sept, Nov. and December.

Now we're just waiting for the passport request but I don't even know if Buffalo received the additional documents. All we have is proof from the mail signature! This is all before christmas, so we haven't heard anything since! I'm starting to get worried :( Any other similar timelines?

I've been reading the posts for a while too. What an incredible group of people! You are all so supportive.

Chess101, you are not alone. We are in a similar situations. Here are our time lines (side note: I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my American husband).

Mailed the application on Aug 3, 2010 (received in Mississauga on Aug 5). Sponsorship approved, file forwarded to Buffalo.
Buffalo started processing the application on Sept 10, 2010.
Initial Assessment received on October 11, 2010. Interview waived, no additional documents required, medical exam received.

Since then NOTHING. It's incredibly worrisome and frustrating, as you can imagine. My husband tried contacting them twice (case specific inquiry), he got nothing but the standard response from Buffalo.

I requested the CAIPS notes in mid February.

imstillwaiting - my story is almost EXACTLY like yours. except that i got a letter requesting my authorization letter for my caips notes, which i just faxed yesterday. my application went "in process" on "september 13, 2010" at buffalo. ;)

Thanks linalizzie. I noticed you re-did the medical exam. Did they ask you to? My husband did his at the beginning of April 2010 so it's coming up to one year.

guys some good news, got the sponsorship approval thru my wife. You guys can see my time line. Hopin for a quick turn around from Buffalo now.

So, I got my CAIPS notes, but I can't make heads or tails of them. Where did you guys find the bring forward date in there? So far it looks like everything is great, except now my medicals have expired (which isnt noted in their caips notes), because they've just been sitting on everything since July.

Look for "BF" somewhere, followed by a date. If you don't see it, you may not have a BF date. :/

There was a case earlier in the buffalo thread. She had no bf although everything was done in her file. She contacted her MP and he contacted Buffalo explaining the CAIPS situation.

The bf date was mentioned on almost every page in our notes.

Well it looks like we have no bring forward date. Its also not clear what the hold up is. It MAY be that they don't have the medical form for my daughter, and it looks like they did not extend our medicals, so, I'm not sure if we should do them again or what. Guess I'll call on monday see what they suggest, tho am sure it will be useless, they usually don't have any helpful information to share on the contact line.

I did find a BF date, but it was back in June 2010 so I assumed it was an old BF note...
any ideas?

When our MP contacted CIC, they just got a canned answer saying it can be 11 months or longer for processing, and basically had no information.
I'm out of ideas as to what comes next or how to get anything moving.

You have now exceeded average processing times in your case. The MP should have more luck communicating with them now.

We're all in a similar situation either Buffalo is backed up or they lost our info! It frustrating esipically when you've paid everything and done everything right. But I have no idea what's going on!
