i think Quebec might be a little different theres a different checklist as well i believe

same checklist we just do not have to check a section since we apply for CSQ which in my case was also a pain (they by 2 time ruin my name and did 2 mistakes in my address, one major one which was the city :S

oh well... sigh...

i finally decided to order caips notes with the visa office file (i heard on this forum that it delays the process to order the entire file but the CIC says it does not!) i also sent a fax to CSIS to check the status of my background check and am mailing 2 written letters to complain to the SIRC and CSIS

and i think we havent been gettin PPR in this forum bc a lot of apps r from July and so on. I think theres only 3/4 of us from Feb-June

Thanks for updating the spreadsheet! I did actually get the PPR on 10/21...now I'm just waiting for my passport to come back to me with the COPR. (And feeling nervous, because I'm supposed to fly to the States on 11/18, so I need my passport back before then!)

YAAAAY!! Congrats, can_usa_97!! -- Us too!! All the mailed correspondence from Buffalo has reached us within 5 (business) days, so we should get the passport request (that's what's next, right?) on Monday! :D

Our house needs to sell, too. It's been on the market since Jan. 15th, and we haven't received a single offer. We're lowering the price again today. UGH! Good luck to us both!!

The market is horrible, it's a bad time to be selling where you need to sell but not for the same reason as everyone else (underwater).
It's hard keeping up with them. We just lowered ours last week - for the first time though. We've only been listed since late May.

So Humans actually work at Buffalo and respond to e-mails it is a miracle. I sent Buffalo and case specific e-mail yesterday at 5pm and I got a response today at 12:30pm. I asked them if they had recieved my medical results and if they needed anything from me since I had not heard anything from them since my case had been in process since aug 19th.

The e-mail stated
Dear Applicant,

We have received your medical results.

Regards,

Immigration Section

So at least they responded to part of my question, but still do not knwo what they are waiting for before they ask me for my passport, but at least I know it is not the medical results

You've probably all forgotten about me, since its been forever, and alot of heartache since my lsat post.

But today, when I checked my mail, I GOT MY FBI CLEARANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It only, in the end, took six tries. :'(

Now that I have it -- I want to overnight it to where it needs to go but I'm unsure of the address. Does anyone have it?
I have the file stickers that came in my correspondence several months ago.

Do I use this address?

Immigration Regional Program Center
3000 HSBC Center
Buffalo, NY 14203
USA

Just stopping by to let you guys know that I have my visa now!

I am a former Buffalo applicant who got transfered to Detroit. The Buffalo office had my file for two weeks before they decided to ship it to Detroit..which caused me to send my FBI certificate twice but everything worked out in the end (glad I had the 2nd certificate in my hand).

Thanks for all the support you have given me and I wish everyone to have their PR visa very soon!! :-*
