They are giving me until November 10 to give them my passport, I'm taking a trip until the 7th... can I mail it out? Do they have to recieve it by the 10???
Yes, they need to receive it before the 10th. You might have to cancel your trip? Or send it ASAP and hope it gets back in time. How long does the email say it takes for them to get your visa ready? My email said 3 weeks and they damn near took every singly day of those 3 weeks :-\
Does this mean that I won't have to do my medical or have an interview now???
Yes it does! You're done except for the passport mailing, receiving back and landing.
Your visa will likely expire on the date that your medicals do, though (1 year after taking them) so if that is soon, you should prepare to land quickly.

*edit* just saw your profile says you did your meds on 9/10. So that should be fine, not sure what you were worried about?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please tell me if they know rather or not I can send a letter to Buffalo stating that I moved from Ohio to Georgia in July(when I did I sent them a whole bunch of emails) but then at the end of Aug. my family told me they sent me my AOR but it went to Ohio first then GA well since the middle of Aug I have been in Canada well now that I have those stickers that I will have my family send to them can I have them put down I moved from Ohio to GA but am currently in Canada and give my husbands address in Canada or they won't allow it? thanks in advance

So if I don't get my PPR and land in the next 2 days, I have to get another medical done???

Nyssa- Send your passport out now!
I sent mine via express mail from Oregon to Buffalo and put a prepaid return express mail envelope and had it back in 6 business days. It cost 36 bucks total and it gave me piece of mind that it was trackable, had to have a signature, and I knew it wasn't sitting around in the post office somewhere collecting dust :)

Congrats!

It is really hard to understand what exactly you are asking here. Are you saying that you emailed buffalo and asked them to change your address from Ohio to Georgia, but they continued to send documents to your old address in Ohio. Now you live in Canada and you want to change your address again, but you are not sure if you are allowed to be living in Canada?

Not sure. I think there have been other cases of people on here who's medical expired and they were fine. So I'd wait and see what happens if I were you. They do often put the visa expiry date for the date the medicals expire, though. So not sure what the date will be otherwise.
Don't panic, just wait to see what they ask for :)

Two months is crazy... don't get me wrong... I am happy for the people who got it.... but TWO MONTHS???? Hardly seems fair... not that fair has anything to do with anything.

It makes me wonder what exactly got them going over there in B'lo. Hindsight is 20/20 and makes me wish that I had waited the two extra weeks it took for my husbands FBI cert to come in... because it wouldnt have held us up in my belief... we probably would have been approved earlier.

Your turn will come, i just hope mine before yours :P seriously it's really bad not to know at which step they are and what make them not to go forward to give us ppr. I know each cases are different but so many people got it in less than 2 months, it cannot just be those few rare exception. I wish i had a way to make them tell me what is wrong so that i may send them what they need to be 100% convinced. My wife medical expire in a little bit than a month so i start to panic :S

PPR e-mail for me this morning.
OMG I am so excited!!!!
