Do you receive a paper in addition to the electronic AOR you received by e-mail? I thought it was one or the other.

... but then how would you get your stickers? Can anyone with more experience clarify?

I know that when you email the Buffalo office it gives them permission to contact you via email as opposed to other means, but I also figured that you had to have the paper AOR in order to get the bar code stickers, etc.

I never received an email. My E-cas was updated, and I got snail mail. But no email...

Snail mail. No email. And yes - we gave them permission to email.

congratulation but at the same time pains me since i am from February and still got no news since we got the aor hope that since you are 1 day before me i will get news hopefully this week

We are in a dilemma re the passport (anyone have a phone number for the consulate?). We are going to the UK on Sept 25th till Oct 11. The Passport request noted that they wanted it before Oct 16th. Based on their turn around time of 15 business days, we don't have enough time to get it back before we leave because as it happens we are going to Toronto on Sept 22nd prior to going to the UK.................so are thinking about skipping some of the obligations and driving to Buffalo on the Thursday - but are worried because it says the they 'make every effort to return the passport the same day' when going in person...............we will be royally screwed if we don't get it back right away......
