I believe, although I may be mistaken, that it is policy for Buffalo to not respond to address change emails.

case specific enquiries they respond to, but not address changes. otherwise, I'm sure they'd need a dedicated staff person confirming address changes, as I'm sure it's a very common thing.

Well, I guess I'm going to find out. We got heartbreaking news again today, our 6th and 7th batches of fingerprints are not readable by the FBI either. I am so frustrated... I've tried going multiple places, sending multiple cards, etc. Its starting to feel hopeless.

As to the 90 day deadline, the last letter I got from Buffalo said that they were finalizing processing of our case, and that they had preliminarily waived the interview, and that we had 90 days from the letter to get our FBI clearance in, which, with today's news is just impossible since the FBI is running 9-12 weeks on requests, and we only have 60 days left.

Here's a snip of the letter we received, in case anyone else is interested... I blurred out the private bits ;)

omg thats ridiculous how do they expect it so early when they know the deadline !!!!!! wish u best of luck!

I don't know, but I'm just sick over this situation as it is, with our status expiring on the 20th of this month, and therefore our medical coverage. We're waiting on our extension approval, waiting on FBI clearance, and trying to be patient and not get completely discouraged. I'm trying my best to focus on what I can control personally, so Monday I am off to have an electronic set done at a new fingerprinting place, and then have it printed to be sent off to the FBI... and start the waiting again.

Aww I REALLY hope things work out for you. You are in my prayers. I wish you strength and patience. Be strong, there is a reason for everything and it will all unfold the way it's supposed to. I hope it all works out and that you can be happy and relieved of the stress as soon as possible. Keep your chin up :)

I'm rootin ya on! ::)

The saga continues. I sent an e-mail request to the FBI at the 2 addresses I found on this site, and received the following response:All requests regarding the Departmental Order process should be sent to liaison@leo.gov. I have forwarded your e-mail to that address. (From Angela Shepard at the FBI).

I then received an e-mail stating that my request was outdated (referring to my request in December, and them not realizing I had just made a new request and requested expited service due to time constraints as CIC gave me 90 days to produce a document that I already produced in March! I responded and clarified that I was requesting expedited service for a new request. I then received the following response:

Thank you for your inquiry,

If you have used a courier service please use the tracking number and go online and track it to ensure delivery. Our processing time was updated due to the workload we have at the present time. The normal processing time for a request is approximately 12 weeks from the date we receive it. It takes approx 10 weeks before we can pull up the status to verify we have received it. We do receive thousands of requests every day, with several thousand of those requesting the information to be expedited which we can not do.

Ugg FBI stuff! I'm now so paranoid about them 'misplacing' mine that I'm going next week to get fingerprinted to send it out again. If you send it from Canada, can you just use a Canadian money order?

Tell your bank you need the money order in US dollars. They can handle it without a problem. Allison

I know this has been discussed, but I think no definitive answer was found. Do we know yet about how many people here or the likelihood of having to re-do the FBI Certificate because of the PCC being "lost"? This worries me deeply, as I know it does everyone else...

I'm worried too, but I am praying that it doesn't happen to any of us. Good luck.

PS. I just *finally* got my AOR in the mail today. Woot woot. One step closer. They started processing in B'lo. Now the real wait begins. Eeek.

wahooo...got a letter dated July 27th that my initial assessment has been completed. The interview has been waived, no additional documents are needed and they know I've done my medicals but are awaiting the results.

BUT the 27th was the date when I emailed buffalo and faxed ottawa RMC about my medicals, so its quite possible they're already in hand. :)

I'm so excited!

Does anyone know about how long you have to wait for PPR after receiving this letter? I'm still thinking there's another month to go at least...

AOR from Buffalo received this past Friday. Yay progress!

There was no change for either client ID number for e-Cas. Perhaps it will change tomorrow?

Interesting.. so I should have my parents keep a close eye on my mail as opposed to stalking ecas! :)
