I did sign up for it, still don't have an e-mail about it changing to in process... so I'm thinking it's a little slow on the uptake *shakes head*

Well then I guess I will try it...

AND?????

CIC updated their processing time on stage 2.
LA - 10 months
Seattle - 10 months
NYC - 11 months
Detroit - 12 months

I thought these visa offices just finalizing it, but most of the work is done by CPP-O. However, there is no CPP-O processing time on the list.

Nothing. But that's what I expect. Perhaps it's the 31 months last time through this process leading to a rejection that have taught me a modicum of patience. Of course, because of that rejection I also expect that when or if they do start processing the application it will lead to questions for additional information and/or an interview request.

I think we should start a pool - everyone chips in $10 and the last one done gets the kitty. I'd take a side bet that I'd be the one to collect...

Probably because Ottawa hasn't been processing them long enough for there to be a timeline yet....

Ouch. The satellite offices were all closer to 3 months before Buffalo closed.

Buffalo was still at 12 months and from the point it was transferred to the satellite offices it was 3 months but what I don't understand is that we are all being processed in Ottawa with visa issuance from LA so how did the other offices go up...interested to see if they plan on doing it in batches....

I wish I knew what CPP-O was doing. Buffalo was supposed to be reviewing our PR (Spousal) but now it's just CPP-O and we have zero idea what their timeline is.

so updated the stage 2
but cpp ottawa not on list....
so....what should I assume?
LA timings ?
confusion... ???

Until Ottawa actually does it's first batch of applications there won't be any times to post for it. It's all really guesswork at this point...

Dear Applicant,

We are pleased to inform you that the processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada has been completed.

You are required to submit your passport(s), photographs and Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) within the next sixty (60) days from the date of this letter. As the validity of your visa(s) has been already established and is limited to a fixed date, it CANNOT be extended under any circumstances. We therefore urge you to read and follow carefully the instructions below without delay:

Got it today. The email came from "re-los-angeles-im-enquiry"

Also, the RPRF fee, I think I paid for this at the beginning no? I paid like 1000 for the application. Do I just forward the receipt to them?

edit:
here's the timeline.

sponsor accepted, transferred to buffalo - 4/19/2012

request for passport from LA - 8/22/2012
