anyone know where the CPP-O transfers files that require interview. Is it LA or Seattle? Anyone that had this happen. :-[ we have nothing , no replies , have been waiting forever and dont know what to do anymore, interview was cancelled twice, and now nothing. Been waiting over a year now. Any suggestions.? Anywhere I can go to complain or file any complaint?

We haven't seen any interviews come through yet to really know what they are going to do, There's a few other folks waiting to hear (some had their interview cancelled too, others we waiting for a medical extension, and others mailed in their passport) so hopefully you will have your answer soon.

FWIW, Buffalo did a combination (kept some, sent some to VOs). It wouldn't surprise me if, like other CPPs they are closed to the public and therefore rely on local VOs (LA, Detroit, Seattle, NY, DC, etc.) to conduct interviews where necessary but we don't have any confirmation yet.

This is awful.

we called last Friday and confimed that our case is still in Ottawa.

God knows how long it will stay there before getting transferred to other office. and god knows how long we will hear back from the office that processes our case.
>:(

Think positive: Ottawa may process it themselves :)

Actually is that even possible?

I thought they send all applications to other offices for further processing.

Two people that I know of have been told that their file is staying in Ottawa to be processed and the actual visa (in their case) is coming from LA.

I'm the only one so far whose physical file has been sent to LA (that I know of 100%)

Do they need visas? Part of the mystery is whether they will issue CoPRs from Ottawa or not (ie, whether they need to be issued overseas) ...

Apparently? I really have no idea! I'm not sure if they mean visa or COPR's.... cgagnon is one of them who got this information. She was told her file would stay in Ottawa but the visa itself would come from LA. No idea what that means :-\

Hi all. It's been a while since I've shown my face (words) on here! Drove from Victoria to Los Angeles, and now we are driving back up to LAND tomorrow! We will be crossing at Peace Arch in Surrey, BC/Blaine, WA. I'm a bit nervous, but I think we have it down with the help and info we received on here. Hope everyone is doing well! ;D

Congratulations! And it finally cleared up here, so obviously we're ready to welcome you back.

:( This move is taking a while to sort out... I really feel for the people who were on the cusp of interviews that were delayed and those who sent their passports into the cosmos.

Hello Guys

Married to a Canadian citizen. We both are living in US right now. Applied to Buffalo on March 31, 2012 for my PR. Requested for medicals two weeks ago, sent medical on July 20, 2012. Today my wife got this email

""""You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. """"

Any idea what next?

Do I also need to renew my FBI clearance check out? I did it last year on October 12.

Thanks
