Anyone getting any sort of news through Seattle? Ecas Updates?

Is it safe to assume my application went to Seattle to begin with? I think I specifically requested that be the place if an interview is required and she also lives there.

this is crazy!! why then do they tell us and say online that they are not going to ottawa? why when my husband called last week, they said it was in ottawa. so weird, why don't they just say LA??

Totally agree...that's what I thought was weird.

The good thing was that they wrote back within a week and if e email is true, it only took 4 days from the day it arrived in la for them to email us with the approval.

Hang in there,,,,you will hear something when you least expect it.

they should do like send the application to that VO which would be near to the sponsered person..atleast would be easy for them to go for an interview(if asked for)

So Ottawa may be the hub or central office but they are actually just farming them out to LA? Hopefully this means we will see more PPRs soon then!

I'm now confused. My husband called the CIC number and they also said that my file was transferred to OTTAWA office but the guy on the phone can't tell if my file was already there or not..
I then emailed Ottawa office and got a very vague response:

" Dear Sir/Madam,This is in response to your email (see below)

.If you are an applicant with a file being processed by this office:We will contact you with further information once your file has been processed.

Due to the high volume of correspondence received, we are unable to provide a status update to you at this time. No further action is required by you at this time. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum. "

Should I send an email to LA office to ask then?

I emailed Ottawa last week and have had no reply from them at all.

So if what happens for those of us who haven't filed yet, but were supposed to file to Buffalo? Does every thing just automatically get transferred to LA? Or should we be requesting that it get sent to LA?
