Hi Lasiar! Thanks so very much for the info! Still no PPR! I just can't believe it. I mean...I can...but I would have thought I would have heard something, anything by now! I'm trying to stay patient, though. How are things with you? I believe you were waiting on your passport as you had to land by June 13th? I'm sorry if I didn't get that correct....I've had a very, very long day :(

Got sponsor approval email 5/9 which said my file has been transferred to LA also.

I am starting to think that Buffalo closing for us getting approved recently is one less step to go through as we go directly to the intended ''Satellite'' office! I'm 3 weeks behind you I hope that they continue to be efficient!

My wife is canadian citizen who is sponsoring me. My application is still in process. My wife is pregnant and is currently in Canada. I am in usa. She plans to deliver in Canada.

Do i need to inform the visa office when the baby is born (although baby would be canadian as my wife plans to deliver in Canada)?
Thanks.

Yes I believe so. Did you inform them she was pregnant? You're supposed to do that. Actually, it says you are to inform them of any changes.. address change, status, pregnancy, birth of a child, etc.

I did send my immigration consultant a letter from the OB doctor stating her pregnancy to be sent to Visa Office few months ago. I would check with my immigration consultant again to make sure they had sent the letter to the Visa Office at that time.

Should i send an email to Seattle VO and tell them about my wife's pregnancy and to confirm if they know about it? Can i contact the Seattle VO on my own(without the consultant in between)? She is due any day now. Should i just send an email to VO after baby born?

Thanks a lot.

Scrap that consultant. Waste of money, unless she's free haha. Anyway, e-mail now AND later!

i sent it to seattle-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca and got a confirmation email from them too that they have received my email.

i found this address on their website: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/seattle/contact-contactez.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

Should i re-send it using the address u provided through case specific enquiry?

Thanks.

I would if it has anything to do with your case. If it's just general questions you should be okay.

I'm Canadian and sponsored my American husband. We let them know I was pregnant when he applied for PR, and then told them about our baby when he was born here in Canada. Make sure you get the LONG FORM birth certificate as soon as your baby is born because they will need that one, as it has your name on it.
