Hello all,

Finally I received my AOR from buffalo today after 2 months and 2 days from file got transferred to buffalo from Mississauga. Little relief that they have my file. I was assuming they have lost it somewhere. I didn't see anybody got so long to receive AOR.

Now next step is ecas showing in process. How long that will take no idea..

Share ur experience and timeline in getting process after receiving AOR from buffalo.

Thanks
Nsr

Hi Nsr, it's not that bad, some of us didn't have any AOR at all. Otherwise, you can have a look here.

Please take me off the spreadsheet, as I won't be returning to this site. I am stressed beyond belief and reading this stuff isn't helping. I had an ultrasound yesterday and found out that I'm miscarrying... but I'm so thankful that I have my little boy who will be 6 months old next week. He definitely softens the blow.

To those in Buffalo - if you read this site (and I believe you do), please know that you are playing with people's lives here. You cannot even begin to imagine the pain and suffering you cause when you make people wait needlessly. My husband will have to return to the US this summer if he doesn't have his PR by then. Do you think that is fair? I'm in tears and so depressed.

Hi,

I am just sending this as a reminder to thing to take Kitchloo off the spreadsheet as she requested it, please.

Congrats pmar
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Thats good news Nsr !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Nsr,

Mine was worse...Our file was transferred to buf on oct 26, 2011. We received AOR on Jan 4, 2012. I don't know if non-US citizens get treated differently...So far who ever is moving fwd appear to be US citizens...Looking at your pic, I get it that you are from India...But are you a US citizen? My husband is from India.

Its been over a month now since our file is in process...No update..I don't mean to get your hopes down, but just sharing my timeline with u...

Why does the stuff go through Vegreville, AB before going to Mississauga?

Edit: Oh goodness.. that's from within Canada for PR... so extension is still AB though?

Hi my wife is Canadian but I m India citizen living with her in Canada. When your app came into process?

Even though I legitimately want ppr more than life itself - I would gladly give up my space in the line up for Calgary bound - thats too long a time to wait - and so long after the fees were sent too. Thats not right .

Sending all my good thoughts and fluffy bunnies to you x

Thanks moochops thats very thoughtful of you.I just hope noone from here on out goes thru the same thing myself and a few others have.Oh and the fluffy bunnies comment made me lol.

Got email, that interview is required, which was expected given the fact that all Non-US citizens get the economy class treatment at Buffalo, but it is fine, No date was mentioned , so now we have to wait for a date , At least there is a movement :) ,

i guess then i have to be ready for the same email:( we applied at the same time What is your ecas says now?

Homi, I'm in a similar situation as you. I'm a non-US citizen, have been living in the US for the past 10 years, always under F1, but my file got processed pretty fast. I dont think citizenship have that much of a bearing.. actually, i don know. Bufallo can be so random sometimes..

I have been living in US for 9 years but have always been on F1 visa (high school, undergrad, work and then grad school, now working again) . I'm working under OPT . Wonder if it takes longer for non-US citizen in the US to get the PR ?

I don"t know for sure if citizenship does or does not matter ( I want to believe it does not) , but numbers and statistics show otherwise. Not complaining though caz I want them to do their job and get us out of our misery , with interview or without.
