Dear Applicant:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are now in a position to finalise your application.

Within the next 30 days please submit your passport(s) or a photocopy of all passport pages for you and your accompanying family members.

We also require two (2) recent photographs of yourself and each accompanying family member.

The issuance of your Confirmation of Permanent Resident document(s) is time sensitive so it is important for you to submit your passport(s) or passport photocopies as requested. You must submit these items by mail. We recommend that you submit a prepaid envelope for the return of your Confirmation of Permanent Resident document(s) and passport(s). Please refer to our mailing instructions for further information.

Please note, though your passport(s) or passport photocopies are due at our office within the next 30 days, you must check your documents upon receipt. There will be a validity date indicated, and you must become a Permanent Resident on or before that date. The validity of the Confirmation of Permanent Resident documents cannot be extended. If you are not prepared to live permanently in Canada immediately after landing, please consult the website regarding residency requirements in order to ensure that you retain your status in Canada.

Yes, patience for sure! Good that you can start planning for your new life and Canada! :)

Thanks Cycyna, and you're on the Buffalo spreadsheet now, GREEN of course. Please let me know if you'd rather be off the list.

I am sure we all learned something as you said, I know I learned something very important "Patience" lol, but I feel like I am running out of it again :D I was never a patient person, lol, I come see my husband almost every month, he can only come visit every 2 months or so do to his job. One part that was complicated for me is when they have returned our file to us because we forgot to sign one of the forms, then in Jan again they asked me for a Police certificate from France where I have lived before, I don't know how I never thought of that, so had to wait for that then sent it to them. Oh well, the COPR better get here soon, lol, so I can move all my things here, start looking for a job and start our family already.

Thanks again GOGOGO and keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations, achander, and thanks for sharing!

Yes, it's ok.

I'm updating the transfers spreadsheet and adding you - can you tell us if you were physically inside or outside canada during processing? And do you happen to know the date they transferred you to LA or did they never notify you?

Have not been on here for a while as been super busy. Hope all is well with everyone. A quick update on my husbands file..... Last night we received an email from the Seattle immigration office asking us to provide passport so they can issue the perm resident visa. They gave is until aug 17 to go to the point of entry to land and officially become a perm resident!!!! This is zoo exciting. We are celebrating our first anniversary at the end of the month and this is the best best best timing!! Now on to importing the truck..... He is in Canada visiting.... And the truck is here with him. We will have to look up all the specifications on importing and get on that now. I am zoo happy that Seattle is moving so quickly. Nov to march seems like a record breaking time!!

Congratulations, Moonlightprancer! Yes your case is pretty quick, 130 days to PPR!
Seattle rocks, though the recent LA case (achander's) beated you by 5 days! :)
Still happy for you!
