You can chose to include the RPFP with your original fee payment or pay it when asked later on in the process. (The former is the recommended route since waiting to pay later typically adds weeks to the processing time.)

How much did you pay at the beginning? If you paid $1040 - then you included the RPFP. If you paid less, then at some point you will be asked to pay the RPFP on top of what you paid originallly.

I forgot what I paid but it was definitely less than the 1040. Probably something like 400-500, don't remember exactly.

If you didn't make a copy of the receipt before sending it in, you can find out the amount you paid by going to the "pay application fees" page on CIC's site, going all the way down on the page to click on "retrieve previous payments," and logging in.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas.
My husband who is about to land from the US to Quebec, and was wondering if there's a website that sums-up the different things you have to do before leaving the country (contacting IRS, health insurance, etc...).

Thanks !

Finally!! Woo Hoo!! On December 6th I received an e-mail stating it was time to send in my passport for Visa Issuance. I sent it in a few days later and just received my passport back today in the mail with my COPR. The long, long wait is finally over. Now on to the landing process. Thank you everyone for their help and support during this process.

Congrats on the closure in your life :)

Well its been 2 1/2 weeks since my BF date and not a word from Buffalo but Im not realy surprised.Maybe its time to contact my MP and see whats going on.

Hi, all. I'm back from the holidays. ;D

I just got my GCMS notes today, and I'm trying to make heads or tails of all the info. What I did learn is that they had my email address wrong. However, what I'm trying to determine is whether or not my file was possibly forwarded to Detroit.

I've already told Buffalo to update my email address, and I'm probably going to do the same for Detroit as well, just to cover my bases, and to help ensure that it gets done. How can I tell where my file is from all the information?

To further update: Under 'assessments' on the last page, I've passed eligibility, criminality, and medical. Everything else is blank.

Nothing seems to be mentioned about whether or not an interview is needed. I also don't see a 'bring forward date' that I've heard other people talk about on this forum, either. Alas, I likely don't know where to look. :)

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and I hope for good advice for the New Year.

(Dear Lord, I hope my requests don't go to the f*** off department!)
