I would definitely mail a copy of the receipt along with a covering letter stating that the fee was paid along with the original set of fees.
Good luck!
Good luck!
hehe I think there are plenty of people here who would second this statement!awor said:Ah, if only I could time travel back and not make stupid mistakes
Unfortunately it's often difficult to say why some applications take longer than others. If you didn't include your marriage certificate as part of the original application, this would have created some delays. However if they have now returned the marriage certificate to you (rather than keeping it) - hopefully that's an indication that they are going to complete the processing of your file soon.dentistdoc said:Hi Guys
I am new to this forum and found it this weekend...and I am so depressed to see the timelines here, our application started processing on 12th oct 2010 but we are still waiting for the PPR email. They communicated with us once and requested our marriage certificate( marriage took place in canada), which they returned last week and the wait is still on....Is there something wrong....are there any other people in my situation too
I'm just down the road from her in Salem Hope things go smoothly!mrswolfe said:My wife is currently living in Portland and she is going to come up to visit (and hopefully stay past the six-months until we get her PPR). We just paid the deposit on a new apartment for us to share. It is actually an apartment that we have been daydreaming about for months and have wanted so badly to start our home together there! She is going to be visiting here from June 1st-6th and bringing up some things and then returning on June 17th. I really hope that she doesn't get bothered by CSIS -- she has not had any problems yet when taking the train to Vancouver. This is like a dream.
Thanks!quakingaspen said:hehe I think there are plenty of people here who would second this statement!
Good luck! I hope you make it through reasonably quickly.
Thanks Scylla for the wishes...I really hope we hear soon from them..but I am so puzzled the way they work...they told my attorney that they dont need any papers in april there was no communication before that....scylla said:Unfortunately it's often difficult to say why some applications take longer than others. Of course I'm just guessing...
Hope you hear good news soon!

It's probably just a glitch in ECAS as they are switching to a new system. There have been plenty of glitches reported in ECAS over the past several months. It has no impact on your case.JustandDaph said:Hi everyone,
I need your opinion. (I've asked the same Q in the March Applicants thread and thought I'd ask here as well) I finally heard back from Buffalo about my husband's PR application and we finally know that it's in process and I know file numbers that I can check on CIC.
thing is.....We got my sponsorship approval April 20, 2011 and they sent out our application to Buffalo the same day. When I check CIC, it says "We received your application for permanent residence on January 1, 2011. "
The dates definitely do not match up! How could they have received my husband's PR application before we even sent it?! Should I email them about the discrepancy?
Sometimes it seems like ECAS itself is one massive glitchrjessome said:It's probably just a glitch in ECAS as they are switching to a new system. There have been plenty of glitches reported in ECAS over the past several months. It has no impact on your case.
I was hoping to see more progress too. Fingers crossed that we see a lot more this week!sparkle said:So no progress... Although I am glad to see some "In Process" and "Initial Assessment"
