I didn't apply through Buffalo but I vote no. Let's keep Newfoundland. I love my Newfie husband. Unless of course Newfoundland was to separate and has less strict immigration rules then I am all for it. Lol. ;D

I come from a military family, and was stationed overseas for a while when I was growing up. I didn't mention it specifically, other than listing a couple of my elementary schools, with European addresses.

I called my MP office and someone requested info out of Buffalo and was told that they were waiting for the CSQ to start the file. Something i had asked (if documents was missing) in an email to Buffalo and told me my case was in process which was impossible because they needed the csq. Without my MP i would know nothing which is frustrating

I'm not sure. Currently waiting on CAIPS to find out why. I do know that Cic lost my Medicals once and I had to get mine and my children (who are not moving to Canada) Medicals completely redone. But even still they had alll new meds by April 2010. I know I was stuck in background checks for the last nine months. No military or political service, no criminal record, never even been arrested, lived in 2 states... Pretty boring life really.
Hang in there I am sure you are closer than you think. Yesterday I wanted to jump off a bridge and then this morning got the PPR, after buffalo emailed me and said no decision had been made 2days ago... After my ecas updated to decision made.

My spouse left the USAF a couple of years ago - but were still waiting for the sponsorship part to be approved before it goes to Buffalo

On my way to Buffalo from Calgary. Flying into Hamilton, renting a car, driving to Buffalo and staying the night. Planning on submitting my passport in person tomorrow morning then landing at Lewiston. If anyone else is there tomorrow morning say hi, I'll be the one reading the book Primal Leadership. After I land I will give a full update with all the details.

Thanks. Just trying to get an idea if the military will cause delay with longer security checks. Can't seem to find anyone in the same situation. Another way to torture myself

You know i just think they send that to everyone because they just do not want to really look into the files. Like i mentionned i asked them if they were missing anything specifically the CSQ, they tell me my case is in process just to learn that they do not have it and the case never started... so you know they are liars

I was thinking of starting a spreadsheet for all the Buffalo people who are a part of this thread. This way we know our progress, and can track accordingly. Just like we do in our respective monthly threads ! I have been trying to find out some details and format of the way files are processed in buffalo, and I guess the best way to track it is with the help of maintaining a spreadsheet then !

Here are my details, I would really appreciate if the people who have their file submitted to reply with the details so that we can update the spreadsheet as we move on !

I've made the spreadsheet with the help of a friend on my December thread who is doing a fabulous job in keeping a track of our progress !
