just wondering who among you passed your application and received by CIC-Mississuaga on Oct.1,2010?
so hard to wait but i can't to anything but wait patiently anyways..lol

Hi lee_rockz, if you go back 2 pages there is the latest list of everyone's dates, hopefully we'll get some more updated in the next day or so and I'll post a new list.

We're all tired of waiting waiting, but hopefully this will move quite quickly now!!!

YEAH!

I was able to log into ECAS so I just check my application status online. IT SAYS IN PROCESS and we received your application on October 13th.

How exciting, you must be in the next batch of people getting their sponsorship approvals.

Fingers crossed!

It says DM.
but the wait is not yet over. I have to get CSQ now and then my file will be sent to ND

Aww congrats everyone! My application was also received October 13, but still cant log into ecas!! Hopefully i'll be able to soon!

Wow, that's a fair number of updates since I checked this earlier this morning. Grats, guys!

I'm... still waiting to be able to log into my e-CAS. It's getting a bit frustrating. I did find OLD posts on these forums where some people said they were never ever able to log in with their receipt numbers, only their client IDs or file numbers (which they got much later). But I don't know if that's even something that still happens or not.

Edit: I'm not sure what this means, maybe one of you will know. I've been trying for the past week to log in with my husband's (sponsor) info, using the receipt number, with no luck. I also tried with my info with the receipt number, no luck.

But just now, I tried with my info but I used the old client ID number they listed on an old visitor record of mine (over 4 years old now). I got in, but all I see is: "If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status." Nothing else. There is no "underlined status" anywhere to be seen on the page. What does this mean? It's my info, not my husband's (sponsor). It's updated with my current, married name as well, but nothing else. Very odd.

Well still no log-in yet for me neither, tried calling in and CIC is closed with national holiday - I'm going on short vacation now for a few days so will check next week where my app has got to.........

Nope. The client ID has to match the personal info for the person it's attached to. I tried, but wasn't too surprised when that didn't work. Of course, my husband doesn't have a client ID currently, so if the receipt number doesn't work with his info, we have nothing to really go by for now.

is you husband a citizen by birth?

Yep. He's never had any dealings with CIC before, thus the lack of a client ID number.

oh. yes then that is a problem.
I hope you get update using your receipt number soon.

Indeed. :) Thanks for the well wishes, anyway. I'm still curious as to why I can log in with my own info (I shouldn't be able to do that until the file is transferred to Buffalo, right?), but there are no status updates there anyway. I'll just try not to dwell on it too much.
