did you try sponsor's client id number?

i am the sponsor, but dont have client id, where did u get urs
also can you see if you can login with ur receipt number?

i'm the sponsor too.
The client ID remains same no matter what visa you apply. My client ID has been same for all my tourist/ business/ worker and immigrant visa's

I cannot login using my receipt number.

thas weird the only immigration paper i have is record of landing when i first ame to canada and it does not have the client id
has Record of Landing (IMM 1000) number and Confirmation of Permanent Residence number (IMM 5292 or 5509)
so i tried all three and nothing

Try the ID number listed on your PR card.
it will be in the format XXXX-XXXX

oh ok i found it, i tried and still nothing tried both with a dash and without, i guess have to wait it out

Automated Voice Response system says Letter has been sent on October 9th.

It means that you have two different status? showing in process online and saying letter sent on VRP??
Or Only we have same timeline?
I will call tomorrow to find out, Do they tell you its approved or pending or sent back due to blah blah reason????

What doesnt make sense is people that are able to get into ecas using client id for exaple are not able to log in using receipt number.i thought once ecas is updated u are able to log on using any of the methods ie receipt number id, number record of landing number etc
