I would definitely use Fedex over Canada Post. Mine got there just fine with Canada Post Expresspost but I've had trouble in the past with them (lost passport ) As QCSunshine ahd already said make sure you get a signature also make sure it goes to the courier address below:

^ i used Canada post express and it got there the next day! I also requested signature upon delivery and so it went well, however i didn't ship to that address, i shipped to this one:

Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga ON L5A 4N6

thats the address specified in the guide 3900E

I never realized you could get a signature if sending it to a P.O box before. I learn something new everyday. You can send it to either address though )

iam confused about option c print out
it's new for me and never haerd before yesterday
my plan was to send my spouse application this friday {tommorow} but i've gt to know this{option c printout} yesterday in this forum some poeple were discussing.
i tried to know more and some of the posters told me that it's must to have option c in my application
they said it's latter from c.r.a
i filled my texes return year 2009 and gt every thing but didnt see this latter in my texes return
i dont't know whether this option c is include in texes returns
some explanation will save me so help me guys

Option C doesn't come in normal tax returns (I believe you're talking about Notice of Assessment?).
You need to request this letter from CRA and they will send it to you in a few days.
I read in another thread of someone who sent their Notice of Assessment instead of Option C. They were approved for sponsorship. However, I wouldn't risk it and would just request Option C. I'm pretty sure there is a reason why CIC requests this, maybe there is additional information in it that doesn't come in Notice of Assessment.
If you decide to risk it and send Notice of Assessment, I would NOT send in the original! Send a photocopy of it.

Yea i actually thought about that after i sent it and panicked, wondering what would happen since its a PO box and there wouldn't be anybody there to sign for it, but it got delivered and everything thus far has been fine, so who knows!

When i accepted to have that option i hadn't known it cost 1.50 though, or else i wouldn't have added it, since it was pointless, lol. (I don't like retailers asking if we wanna add an option without saying it costs money or even implying it!)

thats the last notice of assesment on your previous taxation but theres a lil diffrent to Option C print you can request to CRA just call them and tell u need Option C print and theyll know bout it will take 1 week to received option C...

Notice of Assessment - these is the notice of the last taxation 2009 you supposed to have this. other option, you can send this with your 12 month pay stub
Option C Print - This is the Detailed report/ record of your last taxation 2009. Notice of Assesment and Option C are the same but had lil diffrence in format like i've said it is more detailed. you can get by calling CRA heres the web site http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/cntct/tso-bsf-eng.html you can check which province of your residence, just call them and ask Option C print and they`ll know about that and then you received after 3-6 working days.

We applied outland and visa office is CIC-London. I sent the visa extension application yesterday as well...hope i can get it and i dont have to go back to home while we are waiting...

I know!! I keep checking my PDF files (I scanned my whole application and made huge PDF files for our records), checking for signatures, and specially the contents of my cover letter! It is a very straight forward case, I hope we'll be processed quickly!!

I sent mine in september, I'm actually waiting for sponsorship approval, but I like to sneak in the october thread so much!!! Hee hee

What are everyones thoughts on me (the sponsored, the one needing the PR) sending additional information, i.e. stuff that proves that I have a job, and that I have been gainfully employed, like ROE and letters from employers, tax assessments and the like. Will it help my application, or is that just mindless filler??
