Hi all,

Well, the application has been sent and now the waiting time starts.

Had to go to Winnipeg for a few days, got some letters from family and friends, and more pictures to include.

But had to postpone the medicals for 2 weeks, dangit. But shall stop procrastinating and get at it now. Only need 14 pictures for my package... Anyways, for photo's, if in Canada, go to Black's NOT the cheap places, the cheap places have one price, Black's give you a discount on "bulk"

Just checked that the Mississauga office has receive our application!!!
How i will get the ecas/client number thingy?

Hopefully everything goes smoothly and fast! And i hope i fall to the 30% of cases which are processed in 2months

So we submitted in September and our application got sent back as incomplete!

I am very happy to that all is up to date now and we sent our application to Mississagua this morning! We are applying outland through Pretoria, South Africa!

Our form of payment was not accepted! We used an international money order from a Canadian Bank account. For some reason they didnt like it so we paid online and sent in the receipt with the app!

What a drag Jacquevw, 1 month to tell you they didn't like your payment method, but I read from your previous postings that you were prepared for this. I too am ready for such a delay but remain confident that we will get there in the end and you are more likely to miss the winter now!

Kingqatar: Yes we were expecting it! We went through the guide on the Pretoria office website and followed the instructions. After sending my application I kept checking the forums for updates and advise. This is when we noticed we might have a problem! Anyway to make a long story short I missed the link on the Pretoria webpage that takes you to the Canada Gov website for additional info on payments.The two webpages gave us different info on how to pay.

Rola14: It took about 25 days for us to receive everything back...ugh what a drag indeed!

We are keeping positive thoughts about this whole process and soon we will all be with our families again!

I will post when they tell me what I forgot because there has to be something and everytime I look at the the forum, the CIC website, just start thinking, I find more and more that worries me!
