I feel so spoiled that I got to come see my wife for Christmas in Canada! Merry Christmas to everyone and to all those not as fortunate to be with their loved ones during this time, hang on in there you will be home soon!

Update:

I just received two letters!

AOR dated 02 Dec 2010. Doesnt give me an interview date or wether it has bn waived yet so no idea on that yet!
and a letter requesting additional documents! This might be an issue tho so I will start a new topic on that and hopefully get some advice.

It's been 36 days as of today since my sponsorship was approved and the file was transferred to London...and still no update saying In Process! More than 2 weeks behind schedule at the London VO

I didn't expect much to happen over the holidays, but my app (and certainly the other 2 Londoners who were earlier than me) should have been In Process a couple of weeks before Christmas! Hopefully they're back in the office today...I know I am!

i know MikeUK, I'm finding this bit really frustrating, not hearing anything when you look at the September thread, they all had In Process by this time after their sponsorship was approved, but it is holiday time and of course the fact that there was a couple of inches of snow on the ground brought the whole of the UK to a halt and so its just once again a waiting game...

ho hum.... at least my hubby is here!

The November Thread is just as quiet as you guys, go figure. We can't really say we're too surprised by this, given all the vacationing going on at CIC right now.

I hope you guys start getting some AOR/In Process's very soon, as that'll mean we will too.

Hope everyone had great holidays! and i hope 2011 is gonna be more awesome than this year!

Nothing for us, planning to send update package to London after new years. We got bunch of good pics of us on xmas. and also can add couple receipts hopefully it helps!
3 weeks and we are moving to toronto so that keeps us busy on january. Hopefully i get the visa extension, cause my mom just called that they are coming over on end of march(his husband is canadian). so im really hoping to be here, since its been awhile we last time spend some time together.

Just signed in to bid farwell to 2010 with people who will understand when I say that 2011 will be a MUCH better year.

I bid farewell today with family and they have informed me that my year was great that I was married. Terrific, married and said goodbye to a husband all in one month... haha

Anyways not complaining, I am so excited for this new year and what the next couple of months will bring. I hope that everyone has a fantastic New Years and that this coming year is filled with nothing but good news from your VO.

Now its 2011 in UK, happy new year to everyone, and hopefully we'll all get a really fast approvals for everything we need to be with our loved ones.
