hi my husband got his passport request today and he got the same file no. starts with letter Fxxxxxxxxx instead Bxxxxxxxx he got also UCI: 000000 2barcodes on his letter and I cant open his ecas. congrats to you rythmic_snow

I got a Bxxxxxxx file number. However, I don't think it matters. PMM made a post here when someone asked about this recently. He said the letter doesn't mean anything, because they're just using the letter (plus numbers) as part of their filing system--that's it. So they start with Axxxxxxx, and when that runs out, they switch to Bxxxxxxxx, etc.

Hi Guys,


Happy New Year!!!! Just found this thread and thought I would pitch in.

My app is currently in London having been transferred on November 23rd, however since then I have heard nothing at all, and I think I am safe in saying that all London applicants on the same timeline are in a similar boat.

I have the added problem in that I am currently in Canada on a work permit and this expires on January 16th, so it looks like I will have an enforced vacation. I shouldn't complain though as at least my wife and I are together, and for that I am very grateful. But London should still hurry up

Yes I sent all the paper work off in December. The funny thing is it is currently taking them 4 months to process vistor extensions so (fingers crossed) I will have PR before that is even processed
