Happy easter everyone!
We're booked to fly in to Canada June 15th so getting everything organised for that. The passport came back really quickly, less than a week turnaround. Slightly paranoid about someone breaking into the house now so have it hidden away just in case :-)

Mixed reactions from family & friends here but they are slowly adjusting to the idea and finally starting to see the positives from their perspective (somewhere amazing they can come visit someday).

I haven't updated the table in a while and with all the commitments and things going on here, particularly with the pregnancy, I wondered if anyone else who is regularly on this thread is happy to take it on? If not I hope everyone is ok to kind of get the sense of timelines based on replies to the thread?

Anyway, just trying to research now whether it's better to put our personal/household goods that we are shipping under my name (applicant) or husband's (sponsor). Surrounded by boxes here, have to be pretty ruthless about what we are sending, costs a fortune from Australia!

Hope everyone is well and happy and those waiting for good news will hear soon.

hi, :) congratulation for you.i would like to ask if u know something about this : do you think if i get working holiday visa in australia,i could apply my spouse visa from sidney?since we are all not an australian.do you think it's possible?

Congrats Jma! I'm so happy for you!
Your PPR gives me hope since we sent the application on the same day.
Unfortunately it seems the waiting game is not over for us yet. :-(
At least we have some good news: Our application has been in process since June 15th.

I hope we'll be done soon... Keeping my fingers crossed as always.

A big hug to those who are still waiting.

canuck how are you getting into your ecas? through the file number given to the immigration applicant? if so how did you end up getting the file number just curious since there has been no reply from singapore office and im just getting curious and worried..

Hi Blues!

There are 3 options that work for me:
- Sponsor's info with receipt no.
- Sponsor's info with Client ID (from the sponsor's approval letter)
- Sponsored spouse info with file no. (from the AOR letter)

Have you received any updates yet?

GOD BLESS YOU

Congratulations JMA!!! That was fast!

Still no word on our application. I'm so beyond frustrated. We still haven't heard a word back since we sent the reply about the custody papers back in January. I would have thought we would have at least got a reply to our reply to say that things are progressing or we need more paperwork.....something. It's been six months. Our application has been "in process" for seven months. We've done nothing wrong and everything was filled out correctly and all paperwork was included. I can't understand why this hiccup is taking so long to sort out.

CIC are not the greatest with communicating I am afraid. They ignored my emails and letters for a good three months until they finally told us what they wanted (RCMP check). All you can do is sit and wait although I totally understand how incredibly frustrating it is. I have ranted and raved quite a few times in the last few months. It is such a helpless, horrible feeling. It would be nice if they had some sort of communication just so we know what is going on. Hang in there!
