or maybe who updated my e-CAS just forgot to the put the "medicals received" on mine. I'm sure they do a bunch at one time for the updates and it might just get missed accidentally. Maybe that is what happened to yours too, kelKel. Thanks for letting me know that happened on yours too....good to know I'm not the only one that didn't get that message right away. I won't worry about it then, as I don't think I did anything wrong on the form, and like you said, Jen85, the doctors know where to send them.

Although before I read your posts, I DID call the doctors office (had to leave a voicemail), just to check to make sure they were sent. But I won't bother emailing Buffalo.

It sounds like you did everything right TreeLover. I put my visa office as 'Buffalo', but at one point, the doctor asked me where I wanted them sent. I said "Uhhh... don't they go to Ottawa?" and he said "Oh yes, alright."

Isn't it funny how we start to worry and get paranoid that something is wrong if our experience isn't the same as most of the others?!

Like Pharoh, I was wondering why I didn't get the AOR email that the others received, although the missing "medical results received" concerned me more. And I'm sure the people who got the AOR already, but not the "in process" message, are wondering why their application isn't in process yet! Well, it probably is, but they just didn't get the e-CAS update yet.

Finally...congrats Pharoh, Tree Lover, Atog, and MzzCanAm!

I checked e-Cas this morning at about 6:30 - I did receive an email from e-Cas Tracker at 5:20 this morning but it was in my spam box. However my message does not say anything about my medical.

We started processing DKA's application on January 27, 2011.

As for the log in information:
Receipt# and Client# with Sponsors info works
Immigration File# with Principal Applicants info works.

hmm question... how long does the PPR takes? from now to PPR? and then from when we send them the passport until receiving it back?

UPDATE PPL!

I have an update for all of you.. My husband was at our VO to hand over some documents yesterday and had the opportunity to speak with someone there with regards to processing times..

We have been told that it takes 4-6 months from the time our VO recieves the documents from the Missassuga office to issue visa! we're very hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later On the CIC site it says 17 months so you can imagine how great this news is for us.

the docs were requested on the 27th January and we handed it on the 2nd of Feb - this info is for who ever that's updating the sheet

I heard from the dr.'s office and they sent out my medical results to Ottawa on October 20, 2010. So I'm not worrying about it anymore and will just wait and see. They might have just missed updating it in e-CAS, or like someone else said, haven't matched up my results yet with my application in Buffalo. Or maybe they requested them, but they weren't sent over from Ottawa yet. Could be a variety of reasons.

I see that DKA also has the same experience and didn't get confirmation of medicals received.

It's good to now most of us are "in process" now. For those people who are waiting, I wish you good luck. Hopefully September Thread will get speedy!

I've been checking out October Buffalo Applicants, and only one received PPR.

Anyone have an experience how long from "in process" to PPR?

Pinay I believe the time it takes from "In Progress" to "Decision Made" varies - it all depends on your application, everyone's situation is unique in their own way (and I guess how slow/fast the assigned IO works, LOL - jokes)
