Hi, im still waiting for the letter of "DM" sent on 7th JAN 2011. anyone pls tell me how long wud it take ?????? on the otherhand, PR status says " my app received on 13th JAn 2011 along with Medical results." any idea my case is approved or rejected OR ???? i dont know wht to do !!!!!!!!!!

More than likely, the decision made means the sponsor has been approved. The file was then sent to your local office and it is waiting to be processed. So the whole thing isn't done yet but things are moving. Can't say how long it will take to get the letter...depends on how fast the post is in your area. I would think it would be soon though.

Got an e-mail this morning from E-CAS tracker. I logged into E-CAS this morning and it says:

We started processing your application on January 27, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Great news!! Now fingers are crossed that an interview is not required.

Congratulations! I figured you'd hear something. I suspect DKA and others will this morning as well.

There's one thing that's bugging me... that I didn't get an email from Buffalo directly, or specifically, my AOR. I'm wondering if the email address they put down for me is slightly off? I'd hate to miss that PPR email, you know what I mean? TreeLover didn't get an email either yet, so perhaps I'm just being paranoid. I'm just surprised, given that all of you got your AOR via email last week, and this week, I'm one of the first to get InProcess, but not AOR. Bizzare.

Also, I've been looking up stuff regarding the interview. As with everything else, nothing is consistent. In some cases, people find out the interview is waived through their AOR letter received in the mail (so in about a week-ish?), whereas others do not hear anything about the interview, and then all of a sudden, it's PPR time.

I'm excited about this, but I'm also nervous, as an interview will probably delay my landing by 2-3 months, judging by how long others have had to wait. I pray pray pray there is no interview, and some peace of mind would sure be nice, when I get my AOR letter in the mail.

YAY Pharoh! I know you've been waiting for this.. Congrats! We are resubmitting the police clearence and gonna wait around for a little while before we hear anything, but so nice that you guys finally got some news. Very happy for all of you!

I got my IN PROCESS too! It says they starting processing my application on January 28, 2011! Yeah! So I didn't get an email or letter AOR. I guess that comes later.

Only thing I'm worried about is that is doesn't say "medicals results have been received" like the other people who got the notice. I'm not sure why. I did my medical on Sept. 30, 2010 and said to send it to Buffalo, so I'm not sure what is going on. Do you think I should email them about it?

....I REALLY hope you didn't do that. Your doctor is to send the paperwork to the Ottawa Regional Medical Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Buffalo (or the other visa offices) then requests it from the Ottawa office. If you sent it to Buffalo directly, your medical stuff may be lost...

Hey Pharoh, Mississauga usually sends letters not emails so don't get too worried. Some people get their letters after they see In Progress afterwards, all depends on the mail You can email the embassy to ensure they have the correct email address for you and they will come back and confirm shortly after you email them. You are on your way now!

On Appendix C which you take to the medical appointment it says "Visa office that will be processing the file" and I put Buffalo as that is the answer to that question. I'm assuming the Dr. will know where the file is to be sent, if all files are sent to Ottawa. So, I didn't mean I said to "send it to Buffalo," but that is what I had written on the form in answer to the the #3 question. Certainly Ottawa would not be the answer to that question as they aren't the visa office processing my application. It doesn't ask anywhere as to where to send it. Probably they send all of them to Ottawa. Is that what everyone else put for #3? (that is being processed in Buffalo)

I guess I could contact the Dr. to make sure my application was forwarded to Ottawa.

Mine has never said Medicals received but when I got the letter waiving the interview it said Meds were received so I wouldn't worry about it

We also put the visa office processing our application (London) and our medical reports have been received. The docs that do these know what they are doing and where to send them so I wouldn't worry yet. It is probably just a little late matching up with your application.
