I sent ours in yesterday to Mississauga. Here's hoping it was filled out correctly and there's no unnecessary delays.

Such a relief to have that pile of papers gone from my desk.

Congratulations on getting it filed. It does feel like a big milestone! Good luck!

Hello Fellow November Applicants :)

We sent our application (Within Canada Application) to the Alberta Case Processing Center on Monday and they got it yesterday! :) I understand that it will be almost a year before anything gets approved.

I'm 4th generation West Coast Canada Gal, married to a kiwi :) We have spent 4 months getting everything together, all the paper work, I found the Criminal record check for him to be the most time consuming. Two month wait and all we got was a letter saying nothing was on his file, so sent that. But Am SO happy to have it all done.

Hard decision picking to live in Canada or New Zealand, both very fine, beautiful countries :) But my parents are here, so as the daughter (only daughter) they want grandkids and I can't move away (says them)

:D

For those of you who have sent already - did you put a covering letter and then tabs throughout? So...

Tab 1 - Application for Permanent Residence
Tab 2 - Background Declaration
Tab 3

etc etc....

Cheers, dish

No I put the checklist first page, and a note that said "Documents are in exact order of this checklist - Minus the checklist" lol hope that will be OK :0

We're hoping to get ours off this month! I have my physical in a week and a half, we need one more Criminal Record to show up in the mail, and an Option C form. Everything else is done. Hopefully, in 2 weeks we'll be full members of the November 2010 club. :) Good luck, guys!

Greetings all!

My wife and I are sending in my outland PR app next week, probably Monday or Tuesday. We're finalizing the questions and making sure the application package looks complete.

Please add me to the list of people to track, for this group of applicants.

I look forward to waiting out this process with all of you, and giving/receiving support as we all wait for the good news!

I'll let everyone know my progress, as we get it. Please expect an update from me early next week, once it's been mailed. We're going to priority overnight it to the courier address in Mississauga.

Talk soon!

Sincerely,

Pharoh

I can officially join the November group!! Just sent our package off to CPC-M today!! I look forward to waiting out the process with you all. I sent it out Purolator this afternoon, so it should get there Monday. Whew....I haven't seen my dining room table in such a long, long time. LOL

yay for November 2010! I'll update the table later today so everyone can see who & what.

We just got notice that our application arrived in the post to Canadian soil...but it's 'awaiting clearance' before it gets to the CPC.

Hi everyone,

Can someone please confirm the following address is correct for sending my application? We're sending it next-day-air with signature required, via Canada Post or equivalent.

Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 1200
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

As I understand, the other addresses are P.O. boxes, and as such, "priority mail" cannot be signed for, and thus, not accepted at those addresses.

Please advise.

Thanks!

oh no! I sent ours to the PO Box address.... perhaps that will cost us an extra delay. I didn't realise there was another address. Can anyone else confirm what worked for them?

Did you courier or regular mail? That other address is only for courier... the PO is for regular mail. If you sent it by FedEx they would have said you cant send it to a PO so you probably sent it regular mail to the po in which case you are fine.

I sent it from Australia, I don't think they even have fedex here, it went by 'international courier express', and there was no mention about it not being able to go to the PO box.

We sent ours by Fedex and had to use the Robert Speck Parkway address. Some couriers specify that they will not accept a PO Box number address. Canadayogini, I wouldn't worry as your courier would have told you they wouldn't accept PO boxes if they had a problem with it. I am sure it will arrive fine and I bet the couriers in the area know the CPC well and visit often so they will know where to go!!

Hi everyone,

My husband and I sent our application from Italy to Mississauga last week and it was received on Nov 1st.
It's only been a week but it turned out to be the longest week ever!

This forum helped us throughout the process of gathering all the documents and filling out the forms.
Even though I'm quite shy and reserved, I finally decided to register and share with all of you these months of waiting ahead of us.

Good luck to all of you!

Hi Canucky in Italy

Congratulations on getting your application done and sent off. That is such a big step already. Yes, it will seem like a long wait but I am glad you joined this thread so we can support each other.

Good luck to you in hearing positive news soon!
