Dumb CBC news tried to say they were targeting US businesses.. that's a bunch of crap because I was there! Everyplace was smashed.. what made me the most angry was that they smashed in small businesses. They just screwed over lots of random people with small businesses when they claim they want to fight poverty.. so stupid.

so dumb.. I wonder though why people were not prepared for this? I just watched Battle in Seattle.. EXACTLY the same thing.... My hubby said they were probably anarchists from Europe.. that travel around to all of the SUmmits causing Havock..

And the billions of dollars not only in security but also in damage that SOMEONE has to pay (us) could have been put to such better use.....

Did you appeal or just try another application after gathering more proof, etc?

Did not appeal. It was not advised in my case. Our case got rejected cz of a simple reason >> " IO convinced sponsor (wife) won't go back after PR is granted to spouse!" Hence, the day we received the rejection letter with this reason stated, my wife left for Canada the same week and took up a job & an apt. on lease to prove "a citizen's binding to her home country"! We eventually submitted all these docs. as proof and she took a vow not to get out of the country till the visa is granted to me =)

Hey guys!!

Used that E cas tracker thing.. Said decision has been made and letter was mailed on June 23rd!!! That was only 33 days for me! Not bad! Mailed the application on May 19th it arrived on the 21st.

My partner is picking up the mail at lunchtime today so we should know if we have been approved or not in a few hours!

ECAS update anyone? Sent mine on May 18th , received on May 20th. Even Ecas tracker didnt give me any email yet..argh! :'(

Got this email on the way to work through Matthew's ecas tracker! Our ecas is activated with decision made and letter mailed out on June 24! Our app was received by CIC-M on May 26.

Hi,
I called the cic customer support today and the person said my application is approved and send to new delhi.. I have send my application on 26 may and recieved on 28 may...but i m not able to login on the website with my client id.. i even talked again to another representative but she did not confirmed anything she said we have not started anything for may 28 cases..
so i m soo confused..what u all say...

ya my applicatioon was recieved on 28 may... i called them again and they said the sae that we have not started ur application.. i m not sure what is my status..
