Question about sa PPR. May 6 stickers dun sa letter from embassy. San ididikit yun? How bout un letter, kailangan pa bang isama yun pag papadala na yung passport?

Yah our app got approved on june 23rd. Letter from embassy shows that they sent that ppr letter on June 29th.

My wife just got PP req.

Cool. Now that's clearer. I have no plans to travel anytime soon but it's good to know some workarounds. That way it wouldnt be that hard dealing with it in such cases. I'll start with the PR card renewal for now then apply for citizenship later on. :) Thx a million Leon. 8)

Thx Leon.Follow up question. What's the best way to go right now: apply for PR card renewal or apply for citizenship? And i assume with PR card being expired it might be risky to travel outside of Canada as it might cause an issue when coming back, correct?

First time in this forum. :) Case: My PR CARD will be expiring in a month. I'm currently sponsoring my wife for her application for permanent residence(STATUS - in process in local visa office ) . I'm planning to submit an application for PR CARD RENEWAL before the end of this month...

Just send it back once you include the original copy of the medical result. For change of address you can inform them later.

@djmonay: call CIC so you'll know the status of your application that way you know where do you stand. I can't login to ecas either so i called CIC and advised that they sent a letter on June 23..

Just called CIC and said they sent a letter on June 23 but I haven't got it yet. they said it takes 5-7 business days. Also cant login to ecas for whatever reason. Tried client id , receipt # , PR # and even confirmation of permanent residence still no luck. Wishing for the best on the letter...

ECAS update anyone? Sent mine on May 18th , received on May 20th. Even Ecas tracker didnt give me any email yet..argh! :'(
