yeh i am a canadian citizen.... ok so just PR status.. thats ok .. not residency.. so does he just apply for a new card once its done? and we just prove that we've been together? Also what if he were to stay in canada with our canadian citizen children... does that count too?

i sponsored my husband from Uruguay and was process in the Buenos Aires office... it was quick and smooth.. from May we sent it in.. June were sponsor accepted - October we got PPR.. landed in Dec. no hassles no problems :)

thats good -- b/c they def wont issue another visa. once it is sent from their office thats it.. and let this be a lesson to us all -- USE DHL OR FEDEX or ANYTHING BUT REGULAR MAIL :P

how do they know what you translate is right? -- it needs to be done by someone approved by the embassy. Contact the embassy and ask for a list of translators. this is for any document that you send the embassy (birth certificates, marriage licences) etc... for the emails and stuff I would do...

yeh i did one page to prove continuing relationship with a few small pics around it in like a portrait type page (landscape) and it was basically 2 paragraphs of our relationship from beg. to now... and then we (i) answered the relationship question in the resident ap.. a mini story that...

we got PPR in October.. I think the 12 :) i guess it was super fast.... no secret.. just real relationship :) and our package was just normal -- like 10 extra pages with pics embedded in.. nothing fancy.. about 20 pics total...

you have to have all certificates and basically anything you send in translated by a notary public

they have my name spelled wrong -- so it comes up as a discrepancy which means i am always denied credit/cell phones/ whatever.. and they are dumb as bricks those who answer the phones.. :S
