I got email from buffalo as above but my status in e-cas is not updated. Is that normal?

My wife got her passport request today from New Delhi, along with barcode stickers. I hope everyone else gets their's very soon!

called CIC call center today , the funny lady told me that the sys will be updated soon like tomorrow with 70+ days still Feb.11 THIS IS CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZY what is going on over there!

Me too called CIC-M today around 4:15 PM and Lady was ok not much helping. She said they are processing applications upto Feb.11, 2010 and even this week it will not change. She said status is updated normally every Tuesday. She took my all information and said my Application was received on Mar.29, 2010 and is under process as of Apr.27, 2010 and decision has not been made yet. The Officer will review and can take upto atleast 40 more days. She said call back in June first week. I am really worried. My online E-CAS status not showing anything yet.

Okay i know all of you are worried just maybe sad for some but hopeful news. We (the 2 February 17 guys) finally got news as of last sunday. One got processed april 22nd and me the 23rd. E-cas updated only the 25th We both got a letter sent to us the same day.

Sadly the call centers will keep on repeating the same thing about the date and process since they are not in connection with any case processing center. Most but not all cases for sponsorship are approved the same day, so the only thing i can say is be patient. I had my angry/worried moments too but there is nothing we can do, i understand your feeling though.

i just checked ur timeline again and it seems that its been almost one month after ur file has been transferred to new delhi visa office. so , i think by now they must have been done all the formalities and they have requested the passport to just give the visa stamped. good yaar by this it seems ur work will be done in may itself.................. ! oh god i just wish my things should also move according to ur timeline.

I hope this is the case...but I think they just started working on our file. God Knows!!!

You didn't mention if your sponsorship has been approved or not??

I think your status will change to "In Process" for PR application this Monday...

they sent a letter on April 9, 2010 about the decision on your application that was Approved Sponsorship and transferred my file to Delhi Office as well but no updates after that :'(

Not sure why its taking more time to transfer the file to ND office, Before it used to take only 10 days or so
